Obviously fake female accounts are common on Fab. Just this week the same, identical account was created four times in my area. I report them every time but they're not removed.

Why does Fab allow 'women' to create an account without the need to photo verify? This would resolve every fake account issue.

What is the point in reporting a clearly fake account if it's not removed?

This is a great site but could be so much better.

How does fab know every account is fake? Just block all non verifieds and you wont see these accounts

Yes there are a lot of fake accounts on here. But surely Admin need to have reasonable proof that it's fake before removing it, not just someone's says so. A lot of fake profiles are photo verified. A lot of fake profiles also have meet verifications. As an example your verification looks suspicious to us. It may well be genuine, but a lot of profiles do have fake verifications. Surely it's best just to steer clear of the profiles you mention?

I had to get photo verified before I could use the site so I'm assuming everyone does now.

Does make us wonder what happened to all those face pics we sent when we was a bit green to it,that was under an older account and funnily enough the same profiles are still lurking about and tried the same

Are they putting a face to Mrs body to wank over

Or is it more sinister?

In my opinion anyone new joining should be made to photo verify themselves, but we all know that some fake profiles are verified by photo or webcam

and they are just time wasters.

I find anyone that's not being verified within a few months of joining is fake or a time waster.

Anyone with the tiniest bit of knowledge can photoshop a username on a pic of their choosing and be photo verified.

It wouldn't resolve a thing.

Im sure its people who have had various other accounts.. myself never had to verify on my 1st couple accounts but i have had to with this one

As someone else stated photo verification is actually a piece of piss to fake, always has been. With A.I. tools now readily accessible it's even easier to fake not just pics but videos too. Which means actual verifications (met in person) is also fairly spoofable

Fab would probably need to invest in a type of video verification using mobiles only that would cut out the non tech savy people at the very least.

If it makes you feel any better the majority of the 'new' women's accounts in the London area are seemingly the same fake accounts being set up on rotation with the same pics and profile blurbs! - it's unfortunately not a solution but you can block the accounts when they do pop up

I thought accounts with the same name couldn't be created for 'unknown' period

I deleted an account years back and tried to recreate it and was denied but I wasn't deleted so maybe that's it

Their is a point in reporting it helps the site and Admin to review any reports made and remove. at times you just need to be patient you might not be the only one doing all the reporting

Thank you for reporting suspect profiles and please continue to do so as it does help the site.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******
