Time for the “Virus” forum to be removed?

I get that in 2020 this was a good forum to separate the chat and discuss the impact

On the community.

Now it is mostly a place for the tin foil hat brigade to assemble, from what I have seen. It doesn’t serve a useful purpose.

I know I can choose to just not go in (and I don’t anymore) but I also don’t think it’s appropriate for this site. Thoughts?

Keep it. Stops the tin foilers infiltrating other areas of the forum.

O o O oo

Covid hasn't ended even if people want to pretend it has, it just isn't being reported any more so some people may still want to talk about it, however I am sure if Admin think it should be removed they will do it

In the meantime, it is easily avoidable. There are lots of other sections to enjoy instead.

It's a useful place to go when you want a reminder of what's out there. And I agree that covid has not gone away.

I don't see why people ask for it to be removed. If it doesn't interest you don't look at it.

People are still getting covid and asking for advice.

Yes there are still some stupid threads on there but if they shut it down they'd be in the lounge instead.

Best left where it is if you ask me.

Manchester (she/her)

I'd rather keep the types of threads in there contained.
