Look @ me section not accurate... Possibly

We are getting friend request, winks and messages from people who don't appear to have viewed our profile. This is making me think they must be fake.

But after thinking about it I realized that it's impossible(to the best of my knowledge) to wink, message or send a friend request to someone without viewing the profile. It's almost like the feature which shows you who has looked at your profile is not 100% accurate. Anyone got any ideas?

You can turn off your visibility when viewing profiles so you can lurk in secret! Or, as I do so I can check a profile before deciding to respond without being bombarded!

It works 100% people can use filters so you wouldn't know if they have

Don't use the site a lot, but just looking around I've noticed that if your viewing a photo or video from the search tool you are able to send winks, messages and send friend request without actually looking at the profile.

They can use stealth mode others wouldn't know if viewing. You learn something new every day

If you go to your account then 'privacy settings' you will see there's an option to turn off 'whos looked at me'. The people you're referring to have enabled that feature meaning they won't show on your who's looked at me. Nothing sinister or fake about them

I have just had a peek at your profile OP but I have my settings so I don't show up.

Nothing fake about it I just don't want messages from every guy whose profile I've looked at because that is what used to happen.
