Friends inbox messages should be highlighted

Wouldn't it be really helpful if friends inbox messages are highlighted?

You have a wee yellow smiley face beside the rest of the icons of a friend so you can see that when looking at messages so it kinda highlights they are your friend

It would be really nice to be able to filter your inbox. Read/unread, friends/hotlist, male/female/couple, etc …
