Long as you still have messages and not deleted because when hidden your unable to send to anyone who has hidden "Do you mean if they aren't on your friends list or hotlist? That's the only instance I can think of because you wouldn't be able to find each other, but that's not the impression I got from the op. | |||

"Yeah you can still message friends and others. If you're on someone's hotlist they can also message you too." Anyone can message you at anytime if there are no filters on. OP is best off just using the filters to stop mail from anyone they don't want | |||

Either way, if you don't have an existing message you are unable to message when the other has hidden "You can message them if you see them on the forum or from updates or searches or of you have them on ur hotlist | |||
