Yes, if you block them they are unable to display your verification. It will still be in their total meets on their summary but nothing connecting you to them can be shown x

As others have said blocking is the only option.

Was that their first verification?

From the tone of the OP it doesn't sound like they are happy to just do nothing, hence the blocking suggestion

Just read your status…. I don’t do verifications unless someone asks for them and don’t do them in return automatically.

Also ask people not to verify me.

Wouldn’t over think it.

They got a decent veri from a well verified profile, shows they are legit, but aren’t interested again.

All a verification is really is confirmation someone is real and who they claim to be (single male/female or couple) and was pleasant enough for you to be happy to co firm that.

You left one for them based on your first impression. So technically whatever you wrote was accurate.

The fact they didn't reciprocate, whilst potentially rude, doesn't change whatever you wrote about them at the time. If people only ever left verifications on the basis that the other party had to do one for them then the whole system becomes nothing more than a competitive numbers game.

No words on a screen will change whether someone had a good time or not. If you enjoyed their company then all is good. Nobody else needs to know.

As for the unfriending? Much like any social media people often just like to make 'friends' to see photos, follow what others are doing and rarely on here is it something that happens because people want to become close bosom buddies, who'll keep in regular contact off site and actually become proper friends.

Don't sweat the small stuff. Life's too short.

The first few times it happened it didn't really bother us but the fact it is happening more and more and they invited us as friends then after we did there verification they un friended us,personally we think its rude.
