Hey how about a map based location, at present we see who is near, but how about showing them on a map obviously not to within 200metres but accurate to a mile or so??

It sounds inherently dangerous, as it could be open to abuse. Some less populated areas would likely make it simple to identify who/where someone is.

Unless you have agreed to meet someone and they have given you their address, there doesn't seem a likely justified reason for seeing where are others are on a map. You'll get shared what you have earned trust for.

Many people use cover postcodes, as they don't want their true home postcode known. And they may never have anyone visit their home.

Too many people have had stalkers, or have been outed to neighbours. If Fab made location identification easier, they could be complicit to harm to others.

Why would this be needed? I already get odd men saying they recognise me or asking if I was in a specific place at a certain time, they don't need any help! - Xeno

I used to think that this would have been a good idea. I had even suggested it on another site. I did not realize what the implications would have been. And I was educated. So while I have no problems with my location popping up for anybody, for everyone's safety I agree it should not be a feature

Just because someone is within a mile, doesn't mean they will fuck you. Seems incredibly stalkerish..

Just because someone is within a mile, doesn't mean they will fuck you. Seems incredibly stalkerish..

It only means they want a fuck if they're logged on and haven't hidden their profile.

Why do you need to know where someone is on a map? This is very risky and could be a dangerous idea, can you imagine how stalkers could use it. We certainly wouldn't want to show up on a map.
