No not been banned as far as I know, and have tried everything, really frustrating as it's keeping people away from my profile

Ok

Then I'd suggest use the contact us at the bottom of your profile and use admin they'll look into for you might be a glitch

Because I update it every couple of days and usually receive hundreds of views a day and dozens of messages. However, since I've not been able to update my status, I hardly get any views or messages!
