It'd be great to see if you've replied to a user by having an icon etc in the message list.

It only currently tells you if you're replied to the last message they sent.

I think that would normally be the case once replied that you're notified with a new message

What I mean is, when look at your list of of 362 unread messages, it's not clear if it's a user you've engaged with or a brand new message.

Group messages shows you a list of previous chatting also on their profile it indicates if you have chatted before

Just below message sent received is a option to use the new mailbox option click it and select the option

Yeah I know that, but let's say I'm in a conversation with a user called Bob.

If Bob sends me a message and I don't read it, it shows unread.

If Alice then sends me a message, it so shows unread.

I have no way to know that I have been in a conversation with Bob, unless I can remember.

Multiply this when we've got hundreds of unread messages.

Unless I'm missing something?

But when you click on the profile top left it indicates if you have been chatting before and how long ago whether you sent they sent or you both had sent to each other

But you could have told them 'no thanks' previously, or been messaging for a forum 'game' and that'd waste your time too!

Besides you could miss out on lots of fun new people!
