SJ & Mark you said a while ago if enough people thumbed up the idea of us being able to see into the chat rooms before entering you would agree to put it back on new chat. It is allvery well in NEW CHAT reporting a member but that does not give an immediate answer, It was very very good to see who was in chat because we could find mods quickly and ask them to come into room to stop it getting beyond help. Surely if we pay a membership fee you could help us by doing that for us. As the mods we have, do have a life obviously we know that so when only a few on it would be brilliant if we could get at them quickly cos it takes forever this way in new chat

Totally agree with you on this one Kitten took me ages to find a mod the other night after reporting certain people on numerous occasions. Think it would be a good idea so we can see where mods are when we are in need, also a few more mods wouldn't go astray either

hasn't it been advised to hot list a mod so you can inbox them straight away instead of trying to hunt them down?

I understand what you are saying about needing a mod in chat, so try to hotlist them and inbox when needed if not in the room?

yep its a good suggestion does hotlist show they on line and how often do ppl check their messages. We are asking for the ability to grab a mod and know where the mods are when there is trouble in the room urgently. Was wickedly good in old chat and worked well so why cant we see into rooms in new chat stead of trawling up and down the room once we go in. Or have a thing on fab homepage naming Mods that are actually online so we can grab them please

dont know if that idea would help as there always seems to be a big shortage of mods available to mod the rooms most of the time

Report and block works sometimes, but it can be slow (Not complaining, just commenting from experience).

Sometimes it needs a room mod to apply a ban there and then and sometimes finding one isnt easy even if they are online if they happen to be in a full room and you cant get in to them.

ty we know that its just a pain having to go into each and every room to find a mod and scroll up and down but hey ho just a thought cos admin did say they would enable us to see who in room without having to go in room tc

Ive got a mod on my hotlist and it says last time they were online was 14 minutes ago yet they are in the welsh room talking, so the hotlist is nothing to go by any views???

The key is to see if they have the speech bubble then you will know if they are around in chat.

Is there any chance that the little bit of code that tags the "*" to the end of ModName, to give "ModName*", could be tweeked to give "*ModName", so that the Mods will be sorted to the top of the Alphabetical list?
