As the title states,I can't be the only one? You report fake profiles and nothing is done.

As an example I've reported a couples profile and have actual physical evidence that they're fake from a previous account they made, and also reported a guys profile that has legit just ripped porn videos online and added them to his profile, I even sent admin the links to the videos online...Both accounts still running, weeks after reporting multiple times.

It seems like anyone can have a fake account on here as long as they have a site supporter pass they're pretty much untouchable and fab won't do anything.

You report to admin as you're told to and nothing happens, you try to talk about the issue on the forum page and mods close down any threads relating to fake profiles so others can't share their experience (check out similar previous posts)

I get fab is a business and by removing paying fake accounts they will lose revenue...but out of principle and respect to genuine paying users, it's a complete slap in the face? It ruins the entire experience for everyone, I really do think it's one of the biggest issues on this site and it's only getting worse.

I really don't think it's being adressed or handled properly. So many things that could be implemented to stop it, yet nothing is and anyone that raises the issue appears to get silenced.

Been thinking the same! Not even sure if we will bother paying site supporter fees when this one runs out because reporting things/contacting site owners does absolutely nothing.

You dont need to be a site supporter to use the site, you just get extras

We get the sentiment but if you see a profile that is clearly fake, don't waste your time with it. Move on and if it's that annoying block it.

If someone is posting and using explicit pictures or videos of someone else without their permission, then it could be a criminal matter if that person decided to take it further. Most won't, I didn't when it happened to me, but it is definitely a criminal matter.

Firstly, yes it is actually a crime if someone is using someone elses explicit photos without their consent, as another user has already kindly pointed out to you.

Secondly, I haven't posted this to stir the pot, I've posted it to ask if anyone else is thinking this/what can be done to improve it. I can see you post a lot on the forum and you're a "quirky" character, but if you haven't got anything of value to add then please move on.

I appreciate that would be the easier route and you have a very valid point, but I'm very much one of those people that if something isn't right, then I'll speak on it.

It's a real issue and I don't think anything will be resolved until enough people come together and air their frustrations, then fab can try and do more about it so it's a much bettter experience for everyone.

Well funny you should say that! I'm in the same boat, paying site member for 5 years straight and think this will be my last time too.

Well it could be if it entices somebody into a situation they were not expecting and something goes wrong. It is right to be worried about safety of other users. So many stories over the years of things going wrong, in some cases quite seriously.

To the OP, Admin say you may be a bit confused with timings. Your report about the videos were on the 18/10/22, that is yesterday.

Also if someone reports another it has to be verified before Admin will take any action, if you report just because you have a feeling the person is fake, they may well not be the case

Can people remember that reports can take up to 48 hours to be dealt with, we have to patient.

I will add onto the bottom what Admin say they do with reports

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******
