Photo verification doesn't mean sh!t

Something needs to be done about the number of "verified" profiles that are clearly fake. It would appear that anyone can get phone verified but then post photos of people that aren't them, which begs the question what's the point? It seems to be particularly bad for TS/TV profiles but seen it plenty of times for all the other kinds as well.

Posted photo's showing faces should be verified against the verification photo submitted - I appreciate that might mean it takes longer for photo's to get verified but what's the point in having a verification system that is so easy to bypass, might as well get rid of it all together.

I completely agree. I have mentioned this a few times. The other issue is Men that identify as women, they are also photo verified.

I have had females messaging me that are photo verified and it turns out they are males that wear womens clothes.

Agree that it means very little and there are a lot of clearly fake profiles on here. But the best way to handle things seems to be to just block them and move on! They ultimately just set up new profiles and continue with their catfishing

I have very little tolerance these days, after exchanging no more than 5 messages and if I feel we could meet I ask to do a WhatsApp video call.

I have had a good success rate

Personally for me pics in general don’t mean shit

Verifications are only as good as the expectations of those previous meets not necessarily mine

The only way to actually gauge any real value from an individual is an in person meet

It’s the age of media pics can be outdated faked you name it and profiles and messages can all be lies or illusions of grandeur nothing beats the art of conversation and sixth sense which can only truly be held accountable in person

On some sites you can actually upload your ID and get properly verified. Weeds out a lot of the fakes.

That would be a good idea, the number of members would drop dramatically but the ones you would have would be genuine swingers.

The only thing is that Fab is a business and losing a lot of revenue wouldn’t be a good business move so you can see why the owners wouldn’t want to enforce it.

Although I believe adult porn sites where you can upload videos and pics are now requesting for proof of ID.

It’s for when people upload pics or videos that they do not have the rights to then there is a legal case and the website owners can pass on the info for the person that uploaded it.

Maybe Fab and other swinging sites will be forced into doing this in the future?
