We've had threads for days 1-4 this is now the official thread for all further feedback on the new chat room.

We've done another update in the last 5 minutes so you can sort users in the list by name, if they have cam, if they're viewing cam etc.

There is a little glitch with it in that it has caused a scrollbar but we'll fix that this-evening.

Other things still to come:

* We'll be turning off Event Feed and replacing it with something more useful

* PM windows will pop to front of chat

* We'll let you choose a size (small/medium/large) for active/docked cams so it will make the room better if you have a netbook for example

* We'll let you choose your font colour.

+ Other stuff.

been in new chat saw the new format on top of our names but cant see where to change colour of my font tho xx

The sorting and display glitches are now fixed.

As you can see we've also added time in room and you can sort by that too, just like in old chat (as well as cam on, audio on, who's viewing you and username.

Please keep the feedback coming.

really good now well done.

Instead of events can we have some kind of alert when friends have come into room or rooms, I always end up missing them and hate to be rude.

I went into new chat (directing) other rooms still empty and clicked on "name" nothing happened xx

It sorts by name by default.

After viewing a cam with audio then shutting the cam down, the audio still remains. If I switch to another cam, I still can hear the audio from the previous cam that I viewed.

The only way I can get rid of the problem, is to log out of the room. Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong ?

Sometimes the audio can "persist" for a few seconds (but usually not more than a couple). Try timing it see how long it lasts for and let us know...... it is some kind of bug with Flash but there may be a workaround

I use Opera and when the chat box opens the text is always at the first message even when I scroll down it just jumps back to the top.

Does that make sense

Then after a while it changes to an 'echo' effect, where you here, maybe 4 or 5 versions of the same audio, each with a couple of uS delay, giving a truly spooky, reverb effect

When we're happy it's ready. Could be a week could be after Xmas it depends on progress on the remaining issues.

I still think the audio should be off by default.

When we get a PM or a poke, it would be nice if the PC made a ping or something. Sometimes we might have chat open, but doing something else, like a bit of work

i am still finding it hard to distinguish who is saying what because cannot enlarge chatroom like u can now especially with all chat being like this no colours yet. hopefully that will be it easier xx if i was honestly truthful I gotta say I prefer the old chat but new chat okay so gotta accept change whether its for the better or not i will wait and see

The old chat was easy on the eyes, chat room was easy to follow

The new chat is to clustered, far to much going on, we've not entered the new chat for sometime due to what I've just mentioned, however, we have faith that admin will eventually tackle the issues which seems to be preventing members entering the new chat rooms.
