Thanks for all the helpful and thoughtful feedback so far.

Today's update we have fixed blocks so they are now fully integrated with the blocks on the site and they work correctly (i.e. block someone, you see the blocked user with red strikethrough and block is passed back to site)

All existing site blocks now correctly carry over to chat too.

Our next three priorities which will probably take us through until the weekend:

1. Giving you a toggle icon to turn audio off on cams you're viewing.

2. Allowing you to sort the user list in the room by the different columns (e.g. username, cam on, viewing your cam, etc)

3. Making new private messages pop up over other windows.

Please keep the feedback coming.

i feel its alot better than the old one. the only problem i have with it is that when i click so people can veiw my cam. my cam icon does not come up next to my name and does not show my cam feed in the top right hand corner of screen. not sure if its a glitch or i need to find the settings button. but great room.

We're going to add a settings button but so long as you allow initially it should work.

We'll have an update in the next few days that should have the settings button and allow you to get it working.

I dunno if its my P.C. but chat seems to be slower to appear in this room than in the other room. My name changed colour last night from orange to pink to green and all sorts too! Do i need to upgrade flash player or anything?

we second that even thou we have set up new ID but sill couldn’t use it with both has we would have had to be come gold members on the new ID has well

seems that only the directing room is being used mostly lately on chat general a bit and the others hardly ever. I think it is cos its hard to distinguish who is saying what no coloured fonts and the joint profile thingy unable to both come on.

Our opinion on why the new chat rooms are not being used as frequently, there's to much going on, for example:

“Latest Events” detract you from monitoring the screen, one's eyes are drawn to the feature, is anyone really interested who has entered what room?

Having to keep scrolling up and down the members list to see who's come in.

Being poked by a member you're not familiar with, which results in looking at their profile to see who it is.

The above is not a criticism of admin, we're just voicing our opinion as requested

Dunno if I missed it reading through all the posts, maybe someone already suggested this, but I think it would be nice if there were some interest based chatrooms, and/or maybe some more regions. Just a thought

We've had hundreds of items of feedback both privately on forum, we're still categorising and prioritising what needs to be done.

So we can't comment on every single thing and say "yes, we'll do this" or "no, we'll not do this" just yet

hiya... all in all i liked the new chat room althought a think the recent events is a waste of space on the screen... if it was just relevant information to the room ur in then i think that would be alot better... obvioously the text thing has been mentioned afew times..colour n size ect... the smileys?? is there going to be a little icon to choose ur smiley from? i think this is all i have to comment on... well done looks like it gonna be great x

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

RE: Browsers - it does work in Opera, but not satisfactorily.

Any pane with a scroll bar automatically resets the bar back to the top every couple of seconds.

However, I was able to view a cam and click through to a profile.

Would it help if I kept messing with it, or is all in hand?

ok tried it and dont like it for one thing its back to front most folk read left to right so why have the names on the right hand side . the old format worked for me and it was easy to navigate

Why change things when they are not bust yes update it but keep the old format of names on the right and chat on the left

I will click on the beta link

New window, then says IE has stopped working, then it tries again, IE has stopped working, and box pops up saying, Windows will notify if a solution is available.

This is a 64 bit PC, (Using 32bit IE, no 64 bit flash yet) will try it on the laptop, Win 7, IE 8 but 32 bit.

Seems to work fine on the laptop.

Maybe it just 64 bit PC and flash

Looking good - great work all round from our lovely admins!

A couple of comments i'd make, to add to the feedback

1. Latest events is really distracting, and kinda useless

2. Poke is annoying, and pretty pointless really - we already have winks

3. Needs to allow users to change their chat colour/bold/italics/underline etc, otherwise it becomes almost impossible to use if at all busy

4. Audio off by default - an excellent suggestion - the number of times i've clicked on a cam and jumped out my seat at a blast of incoherent music is annoying!

5. Multiple logins from couple profiles - a must, I reckon.

Just some comments, but all in all, it's a great improvement!!!!! One final comment would be that with being able to be in multiple rooms, does it not make the policing of directing a little more difficult, and increase the bandwith used? i.e. being able to sit and watch shexy cams in the directing room whilst chatting as normal in another room.... just a thought....

When in the chat rooms, it appears to be that whenever someone joins or leaves the chat room (more noticible in rooms with larger number of people) that the cam, audio, and user avatar icons all refresh and download each time. This is slowing down the chat system quite a bit.

We will see if we can stop this from happening in IE 6. It doesn't happen in IE 7 or 8 so it might be worth trying those. IE 6 is full of security holes so it's worth upgrading for that alone.

There was issues with Userplane, not including teh room lag etc.

I though the old room was terrible, couldn't use it, that bad.

Now there are some nice new things in the new chat, PM, better cams, and clearer messages...

Maybe they can leave the old on running for those who liked the old one???

hi, i use a mac and the room didnt really work in mac, i couldnt see more than 3 peoples name in the list without always scrolling down and i couldnt post chat - is it a mac thing?

yes Lag with userpane was the worst thing.. but it does seem to get worse the longer one is logged in.. this could be a local Cache issue ?
