New thread for day 2

We've increased the size of text in the chat window (font colour is still to come).

We've fixed a bug where clicking profile link on docked cams went to wrong profile. Now goes to correct profile page.

We've fixed a bug where friends weren't being correctly recognised so if you set your PM status to Friends only, no-one could message you. Now friends can message you.

well apart from all the other stuff peops have already put, i love it. think its fun and love the poking bit. well done admin. am just off there now for a quick poke and poking before work lol

Is it always goiung to be possible to be in 2 different rooms at the same time ?

If so, it could lead to problems, if users forget to log out of 1 room before entering another.

Imho, it would be better if you were automatically logged out of 1 room as you log into another

We're monitoring how this works when people use it

Maybe we just time people out if they're in multiple rooms but not contributing to some we'll knock them off the userlist for that room

Known problem: The is a problem with blocks. We'll have it fixed by tomorrow.

Please keep the feedback coming, we're just sorry we can't respond to everyone individually but we are logging and reading every single bit of feedback.

im using opera 10.01 and in the new chat room few things happening. The chat in the window is sticking to the top of the page and if i use the slider to look down at latest chat, it just goes straight to the top, it is the same with the list of people in the room, i can slide down to look who's in but it just goes straight back up to the top, before i can even click on them to pm or view profile....

Using windows 7 (new installation)

Latest opera (10.01)

Clean install of latest flash

lots of ram a cpu time free.

Tried turning both my firewalls of and so on

Will load in IE though, but I dont use that as hate it lol

Is it compatible with opera and win7 ? can anyone else get in with that mix?

It works in IE, Firefox and Chrome.

Never been tested in Opera"

Looks like unless flash for opera makes an update we won't be able to use chat then once you get rid of the old one

The chatroom works once that is turned of no problems!

we have two boxes _j_mark one for "active cam" and one for "my cam" and gotta keep moving the box with the chat rooms in all around cos it gets in way, is there a need for the two cam boxes couldnt we amalgamate that into one box just my cam

Lots of positive stuff in the new chat format but will only focus on the negative stuff here and other suggestions.

List of latest events would be irrelevant with a full complement of users in chat as it reports from all groups and there would be no time to read it, the Chat Rooms pane could be docked there instead of it.

Have had an instance where logging back into a chat room the list of users did not appear on the right hand pane.

Cannot seem to be able to mute the audio of a cam you are watching.

In the chat room the icons used to indicate cam and audio are constantly refreshing annd disappearing off the screen then coming back on at a later refresh, same is happening with user avatars. would probably be better to replace the icons with text A or V.

Colour options on text chat window would make things easier to read in a fuller room as you look out for the colours of the people you are chatting to.

Perhaps a tab system for moving through open chat windows would make things easier.

Not being able to log in from two different computers to the same account will result in loads more couples accounts being created just so that they can both chat at the same time. We would rather not have to create and get verified on two seperate accounts and monitor two sets of everything and conversly have to check through more profiles that may only be used for chat purposes.

The member should have some control over the poke function, i.e. the poke function should be like the private message function, the members choice whether they want to be poked or not and by whom.

If set private messages to friends only pokes are friends only too. Same if you switch private messages off pokes are off too.

We'll make this clearer

is it my computer but in old chat rooms i can see everyone who is in the room, on the new chat i only see the ppl who fill the actual screen i have to keep scrolling up or down all the time to see who is there .

Yeah I'd like that as well. I'd also like to see the chat window open at its maximum size by default and not have to drag it open each time I log into a room

Tried and failed, still wont leave the top of the chat window and the list of users is magnetic to the top as well. Cant even click on them to try the pm or view profile as it moves back up that fast...Love my opera browser and dont really wanna go back to ie...

Have you tried google chrome? Fast browser and chat is tested in it.

Chat works in IE, Firefox, Chrome but we've not tested in Opera

however we do it cant get really big chat or even see who is in room like the old chat only by scrolling up and down all the time xx

Can you not just look at the user list at the right hand side of chat? Curious to understand this problem. Old chat only shows a small list of the users and you need to scroll?

Like this idea would be a lot easier for members to find mods when they are in the rooms, perhaps it could show which room they are in too.

Is it possible to reduce the size of cams, thus increasing the room list names, in the old chat room, 20+ names could be seen without having to scroll down, the new chat room only 8 / 9 names are showing before having to scroll down the list.

Even better, instead of mods having a tiny star after their name, would the word 'mod' not give higher visibility ?
