Hi All,

I'm curious why new users have to wait 14 days to use the forums. Surely to a new user (and possibly) someone new to swinging the forum is the most valuable part of the site? I myself wanted to ask for quite a bit of advice before going to my first club within days of joining fab but could not.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I suspect it's at least partially to prevent bot accounts.

Also found this strange.

As I had a few questions since I started off.

Think newbies should only be allowed to post at least in the Swinging Support and Advice section.

I don't think 14 days is very long to wait. Allows you to observe and see the rules of the forum.

Also you can still read and utilise the search function to find answers you may be looking for in those 14 days.

Also it could be to see if a new member stays a while and doesn't just go UNLOS
