"Only started happening fairly recently but now when post vids, the thumbnail appears black. Any way of avoiding it on android phone ?" Just had a look at your profile and none of your video thumbnails are black. I have noticed though, that some video thumbnails on some peoples profiles are black  xx | |||

"Okay so how to avoid it happening is make a thumbnail picture. You’ll have to use a video editor app Screenshot the thumbnail you want as a photo Add the photo to the video at the start for a second and then that should be the preview of the video, when you save and upload it to here
I hope that helps it’s what I do "But why has this just started happening? I've added videos previously and not had to mess about with adding photos etc and they've always had a picture thumbnail | |||
