Based in Kerry, work in Cork.

Would it be possible to incorporate some form of a digital identity verification service?

They are fairly widespread now and might be particularly useful for something like Fab.

Given the amount of data breaches and poor security practices in most apps it would be a deal breaker for me to have to link anything important to a site like fab.

Not to mention the rise of fascist regimes, globally, and histories habit of repeating itself. Talk about the golden goose for providing leverage.

Not so sure it is classed as a porn site. At a guess it would be a lifestyle site.

I may be wrong. But all we can do is wait and see.

I'm sure admin know how to handle it and will act accordingly.

No? Naked pictures and videos of people engaged in various sexual activities doesn’t count as porn in your book?

Depends what you mean by verification of age. Most sites these days have a "are you 18+" button. Boom, the site has confirned you're over 18.

Those new laws would require a formal id check to establish age.

Not surprisingly age verification solution providers are very happy that their products will be mandatory by law.

When this is made law, it has been delayed for now, to enter a porn site fab inculded, one will see a blank page no images, and will be asked to prove their age, this can only be done by giving access to private info, or I suppose the government gateway could be used.

for me a vpn can make me look as though I live elsewhere thus circumventing the uk site block and keeping my info to myself.

right, so no circumventing then, I won't give out my info to be on here so when its law, and there'll be more fake accounts to pile through due to other keeping there info safe by making fake accounts.

Is that right? I don't know about what anyone else thinks but there have been times (quite a few) that we have recieved msgs with no profile information,or pics etc and we have been convinced they are being sent from kids. I don't think their is aa way of implementing the age thing because most of the apps and websites only ever say, please confirm that you over the age of 18. Speaks for itself. Anyone can do that.
