SJ & Mark you gorgeous people is there any way you can leave our status on and let us take them off or change them when we want to, its a pain having status disappearing all the time. Obviously if status is breaking rules thats diffrent but would be nice to be in charge of my own status. I remain faithfully Cat

Does it just disappear ..Mine stays up till I change it..Even if I have named someone LOL

Maybe I just not been caught.

I they do get removed would help I guess to get a message saying why.

From the status page:

Current status is a fun way to keep your profile fresh and interesting and keep people up to date on what you're doing or looking for right this minute! If you haven't updated your status in 2 days, we blank it so that it doesn't go stale.

Although I've had status updates on for more than 2 days. I would prefer to change it myself though as if I am promoting a meet or social it has to get put back up every 2 days. Grr!

It would just mean people had statuses that didn't change. The profile is for info that doesn't change. The status is for "now" info ; if you're concerned about it being cleared, put that info in your profile heading.

I suppose SJ Mark but would be nice if we knew how long we could keep it there some have their status for weeks some a few days, was just asking cos i wanted to know ty for answer

The reason some have their status for weeks is because they renew it themselves every couple of days with the same one

A little tip for google chrome!

Not sure if it works in other browsers.

On the left hand side, where it says tour current status.....click on the update it? link.

Just click on the update status box on this page and your recent status updates are there.

One click and its back, well ok two
