Suggestion, when I have to delete a post, it's meant always because I see predictive text has put up words that make my post look really badly spelt.

So I copy, correct errors, delete, then repost.

So I get the 'delete post' only has a short time frame to be used, BUT could we also have an 'edit post' with the same short time frame (to prevent misuse) but allow correction of spelling mistakes.

That's my suggestion, which I'm guessing has already been asked before, as I think it's a good suggestion.

As an interim measure you could use the preview message feature to review your post

The ability to edit, even for a short time period would be great.

How about proof reading what you've typed before posting?
