Constant Unread Message Notification

Just recently we’ve noticed we always have an unread message highlighted on our profile.

Even when we read and sort through all our messages to clear this, it’s still left with one unread message which isn’t there.

Has anyone else had this or know how to clear it? We have no message filters on and the OCD in us just wants it cleared. Any help?

Are you on the new style mailbox? If so, switch to old. You might find the message lurking there. I've found this happening quite a lot lately.

Nope it’s still there. Tried using the old style mailbox and going through all the messages and threads we’ve kept as we delete quite a few and it’s still saying 1 unread message.

Can’t work it out..

I had this tried clearing all messages but still say there! It disappeared by itself a couple of weeks later.
