If it's a couple's account why not have two log in address and when your chatting not together it says who is has typed message.

If we are messaging separately we always sign off with our name so the recipient knows which one of us has sent it. We do that even if we’re together.

If one half of a couple messages we always ask which half we are talking to.

Not sure why you’d need two addresses?

We can't do that as we often talk when the chat with people when we are in different places as one works days and the other nights.

I suggested this a while ago to no avail. It would make it so much easier especially if the 3 or 4 of you wanted to speak at the same time, without having to move off fab.

The concept of having a presented name added, for the logged in user - optionally - is a good idea!
