I am finding a lot of new members verified by Cam.

Which is fine in a way.

But there is a lot without any pictures, Even without profile or Friends Pics too.

Thus other than confirming a person was behind a cam, They are not confirming the person matches the profile. As their profile shows as there is nothing to look at.

Meeting in person. Confirms much more to me,

a, made a effort to get ready

b, attend

c, if there is a picture too.

D, they are as they say and attend

Just wondered Peoples views.

I think OP that you just have to see it as two levels of verification and some people will consider a cam verification of someone sufficient for their needs and others won't. If it helps people get onto the first rung of the ladder then I suppose it might help them . Personally I make my own mind up about someone so no published verifications is not an issue .

Methinks people don't check that there is a person live on camera and it isn't just a porn video being shown. The site does advise to ask them to wave or do something to order thus proving genuine.

Oh Yes, Tbh I don't value the cam Verification, over a Proper Meet in person.

but again Profiles without any pictures worry me too.

Not fussed if its only one, but at least half a body shot to give a idea of whom they are.

Oh yes I agree, this year has been unheard of, Its just the lack of a profile pic and or public pics. Just wonsered if its a norm, that people are not displaying any form or pictures on profile

If a profile say its a man in his twenties, and that's what I see on cam, then it seems fine to me.

If a profile says a woman in her 50s and that's what I see on cam then great.

If it says a man in his 30s but clearly shows a man in his 50s then that is not a reliable source so they should not be verified.

Ultimately, the cam verification is only confirming that the person on camera meets the profile itself.

Totally agree there is a lot of set up profiles I have been here before a few years ago and have no verification as yet and the more profiles like this the worse it makes it for new comers I think that if no pictures in a month admin should delete profile if you can’t get photo verified in a week delete profile

I do like being verified by cam as once photo and cam verified you do know that the person is that person

Don't meet a man for a social verification. Many people will assume you are bi. Many people won't meet bi men.

Many people can't read or think for themselves and therefore can't understand that social does not mean you fucked him.

Maybe try the cam rooms.

Don't meet a man for a social verification. Many people will assume you are bi. Many people won't meet bi men.

Many people can't read or think for themselves and therefore can't understand that social does not mean you fucked him.

This is why I only ever meet people that have been well verified by meets. I do get lots of abuse sometimes over it, With people not seeing the reasoning behind it. But you just can’t be too careful!

We don't care about swinging verifications any more than we care about film reviews. Everyone has their own standards, likes, dislikes and requirements so we prefer to make our own minds up rather than base our decisions on someone else's opinions.

That's the great thing abput social only meetings. We decide to go out and have a nice evening whatever happens and if the guy we're meeting isn't what he said then nothing's lost. It's really simple.

Two points I can think of...

1: their pics might be private

2: they might send pics and/or videos before going on cam

Obviously this is just my opinion

They might have had photos before, back when they were verified. Then removed them at a later date.

Also, it's been lockdown, so cam meets became a genuine thing for a lot of people for a year.

I agree people may of had photo’s and then removed if really old or nolonger represents them if lost list of weight etc.

Though I wish f actively looking for a date to at least have a picture of something. If not just body style.

Also gives more credit to the cam verification if they confirm picture matches profile pic. Etc

Maybe pictures should be verified when verified by cam or meet ups and thus if all pictures are removed and replace and then that picture is not verified.

I completely get what you're saying but I've arranged to meet people who are "verified" and I say that loosely because they haven't been genuine. Sometimes you just get a vibe from someone and regardless of their verifications or profile I've had some great last min, I'm going to meet a random person and if they don't show up I'll get someone else, type meets. I think the photo verification steps need to be better. That the pics they have on their profile need to match the veri photo they send in.

I would take webcam veris with a pinch of salt. But even profiles with 1 meeting in person veri as well. I do feel bad for guys in terms of its already hard to find a meet. To then be let down by people who they've been chatting to a while must be the worst! It does happen to women too though

It be nice if we was all forced to keep a profile picture active. Be it a body or bodies of a couple. Like we do with joining for photo verification.

Thus we all get some idea of body type, colour etc and thus gives everybody then something to confirm their verification with.

I've noticed that since meets are allowed again verifications are now showing.

I'm staggered by the amount of people who have been meeting and verifying each other during the last few months and year.

I doubt anyone will be willing to fess up to catching covid from a meet, but hopefully no one got seriously ill or worse as a result.

There is also the problem I am having. As a now single guy with no verifications it's very hard to find people that will even give you a second look let alone risk a meet even just social, when I was part of a couple a few years ago it wasn't a problem as people are more willing to give couples a chance thus making it easier to get that initial verification. Sadly I can't even access the old couples profile as it was deleted when me and my ex split and even if I could those that we had veris from are no longer on the site.

Iv been on at admin for alongtime about making photo varfication mandatory and I think now they have done something? I think they freeze your account until you do so so that's a step forward its probably due to lots of complaints not just me! But there was so many fakes coming through it was frustrating

No I think its only newcomers who are joining more recently they have to photo varify after a certain time now I think I'm not sure though I just heard from a women I was chatting to recently that she got her account froze until she had been varified

Thing is photo veri is honestly worth less than a cam veri I think as it just shows a person of said gender added a photo with the right username on it, I have been photo veried since the day I joined but most are not interested in you being photo veried

Iv had it where I been chatting to someone I ask for a pic and they say there still being processed even after being on the site for days then eventually it you get a pic that doesn't look legit or its a pic you have seen before from other doggie profiles or if you do a reverse image search on Google its a fake pic iv had this happen alot seems to be alot of men who get a kick out of pretended to be women

The reason I like to see a verified pic in profile is that then I know others are verifying the person in the pic and thus a likeness of whom i could or may meet.

Abs could not understand why have no pictures on the profile for public view.

They are only verifying the person in the pic. It doesn't prove who will turn up. They could be photo verified but have public pics of someone else.

No pics- privacy reasons. They can send via messages.

Been on the swinging scene on and off for a good few years now. I have had some wonderful encounters but only have one verification - I’m not that fussed about them as I never display them. Just my preference. The introduction of the photo verification is a good start but isn’t particularly accurate as a measure as it’s an upload. You could upload anyone really. Other apps have you perform actions to camera now. Best thing I can say judge people on conversation some people are genuine others are charlatans. Works for me.

No, photo verification isn't mandatory, some profiles may have to PV before they are activated but not all.

People can change their pics displayed as public at any time, so cam veris just mean that at the time given, they should have met the requirements of the veri.

Meet veris are more indicative of broader potential suitability, including reliability, time keeping, social skills etc. Now getting back to those meets, it will become more widespread again.

We only pay attention to people who have been properly verified by meets ,And most our meets are at the club anyway to meet new people face to face , If we were to decide to start meeting people from here again , it would be social meet with husband to make sure genuine

We take people as we find them. Veri's can be interesting but they're certainly not the full picture.

A man on here told me he approached a male on female's verifications and asked him if it would be 'worth it' and was told 'not to bother'. It would seem that he only posted on her profile to get a verification back. I've heard men openly discussing females in clubs. Hence I never ask for or publish verifications due to the way men behave amongst themselves

I like to make my own decision on “performance” lol. I simply just like well verified guys to feel “safer” if that makes sense ?

Think the whole verification thing is taken too seriously sometimes. It's just a guide to say the person is who it is, male, female, m/f couple etc etc.

In the past we have had some great meets with unverified and also no shows from verified.

Nothing is 100%.

Just recently we was just chatting to a guy and out the blue his last messege said something about us not having enough verifications and blocked us.... We are meet verified 53 times. You can't please everyone so just concentrate on those who appeal to you.

Thanks all.

I just I like to see a profile pic on a profile. (Loads as blank) My main issue as a lot have no pics either. Yes I agree some may not due to privacy issues but sure there is a lower body part that will give a idea of something to attract us to wink that person.

Be nice to force a profile pic as this also help identify the profile from another.

To me the verification is that as it sounds.

A report on the meet and confirmation the presented profile is a likeness of the person or couple.

Thus an aid to others too.
