How long are newbies blocked for, if you tick the box?

How many days?

I ask because I have them blocked but still get mail from profiles less than a week old?

Surely it should be more than that?

Or is there a glitch in the Matrix!

They may be new but are they site supporters? If so, you can't stop them from messaging you unless you are a site supporter too.

Think its about three days, noticed it's after the 'new' logo on their profile disappears

Found this on the filters page if you block newbies from mailing

" Active filters People must be all the following to message you:

Can't be newbies (must have been on site for a few days)"

I think users are newbies for 72 hours so selecting the newbies can not msg would last for 72 hrs

If you do an Advanced Search, newbies are down there as having the 'new' status for 5 days, so I assume it's this.

Dont many people and couples insist that the newbie needs to show that he/she has a badge of verification, explaining, that the newbie has been as dirty as to meet the standard, self imposed by the "hierarchy"?? Or have I misread the initiation process incorrectly, I don't know, and furthermore I don't care. Hope that helps, if not, then I need to address the narrative of this fabulous"platform.... Really?
