Email Updates Badge

I was just thinking a cool feature would be a profile badge to show if a person receives email updates or not.

For instance, if I see a profile I like but they haven't been online for a few days I tend not to bother messaging but if they had a badge to show they have email updates I would be more inclined to reach out cos I know they stand a higher chance of getting back in touch sooner.

Like the verification summary, the user could then choose to either show it or hide it.

Anyone else think this would be useful?
