I feel they need to make the site more legit by requiring all new members to photo verify. This would very quickly help to reduce fake profiles and make it better for us all.

This is standard practice on so many sites now and does improve the quality of person joining.

Also the most fab list should only show verified people. A perk of being verified.

Credit card verification would be much better

Many genuine adult sites do that

Gets rid of underage folks joining

It doesn't matter what you see as a verification,the site recognises meet verification,cam verification as well as photo verification.

So my verifications are not legit? I'm not photo verified, but I have multiple in person verifications from people and party hosts..

I don’t see how a photo verification is valid. Admin have nothing to check it against. Anyone can get a face pic and photoshop a pair of hands holding a piece of paper

In fairness I had been on fab ten years or so before I photo verified, but had many meet veris so figured I didn't need it. I don't know what made me do it at all in the end tbh!?

I'm definitely genuine and have had over 1000 veris in my time to show it..... And in case you are thinking 1000plus!!?!?! Its cause I hosted parties in clubs and until recently managed a busy club

Admin have always said they have no intention of making PVs mandatory.

But you can set your message filters to stop non verified from mailing you and tick the Verfied Genuine box when using search,ignoring those that don't have a PV flag.

Wow well that hit a nerve. No not saying people are fake who have been here years and only have meet verifications. But there is a greater chance of someone being fake if they only have meet verification rather than photo verification. For new people joining it makes sense to ask for photo verification to cut out the 90% of people who can’t use photoshop to fake one. Won’t that make it better for everyone? And yes you can use filters. I get that. But wasn’t my point.

You need to do the legwork.

Using myself as am example. (Forgetting the fact that I photo verified before my first meet verification)

My first meet verification was from someone who has been on the site a long time, hundreds of veris. Would he risk his profile for some newbie pretending to be a woman? Not likely.

If you suspect a profile is fake, go digging or report to admin. (Time wasters are perfectly capable of photo verifying or having meet verifications. I could decide to wind someone up tomorrow - note mods, I'm not going to

Just because someone is well verified or has a PV doesn't mean they will turn up as arranged.

1) It’s currently against site rules to arrange meets, so whether someone is a timewaster or not doesn’t really matter.

2) Photo verifications won’t make people read your profile. If you’re looking for something really niche, someone doesn’t read your profile, and you then find that they aren’t interested in what you want, they might have wasted your time, but a PV wouldn’t prevent that.

3) You mention new users with a hidden meet veri - new meet veris aren’t allowed to be displayed at the moment, so the fact that it’s hidden doesn’t mean it’s fake. You will also find quite often that a new profile is someone who has been here before, and they get verified very quickly by people they met on their old profile. That also doesn’t indicate a fake.

Actually yes it is, I've said before, no way am I sending a face or nude to an unknown... Suits you to do it then great but doesn't mean everyone has to follow.

I don't really get this about fake profiles etc.

Most are obvious, can either be ignored or reported or preferably both. If you do your due diligence then you won't get caught out.

Photo verifications mean nothing as there are plenty of profiles with photos from elsewhere, fake. Do your research.

I would take a meet verification over a photo or cam one any day. The last two don't prove they will meet which is primarily why I am here. I don't use the chatrooms, again not why I am here. To meet, not to use the site as a social media site. Never been caught out yet by someone who is fake. It says as much about those that are caught out as it does those that are fake.
