A member contacted me last night saying they’d been sent my videos from a different profile. They were blocked when questioned and are very worried their pictures/vidoes will be distributed too. I know twitter takes this as a breach of policy and has procedures but personally feel the when I’ve reported accounts on here not much action has been taken and have never been contacted by the site. Is there anything we can do?

You cant send videos in private messages to anyone. So they were perhaps lieing about that. Unless they meant someone else had uploaded them. Then I cannot help I afraid.

Best thing to do is to tag/watermark your videos and photos to deter people stealing content.

They’ve been sending them on Snapchat and kik, i’m not concerned about content stolen more about the safety of perhaps the people tricked into meeting them after “seeing” verified accounts have had meets and made videos with them. Or the safety of those who’ve have their pictures/videos used

You don't normally get to hear what happens to reports, Admin just deal with it if needed...however in the case of stolen pics etc you will get an e-mail saying they are looking into it and a mail when / if it is resolved

The stolen video would have to be on the persons profile to be able to investigate though as they can't verify someone having it on KIK etc

Have you reported the profile?

Yes i reported them, I’d just be heart broken if someone met them and had a bad experience. Seems quite predatory.

I've had a guy circulate my pics to hes mates who happened to know my daughter , I reported him and hes profile and suffice to say Admin were amazing and deleted hes account ASAP

I also reported him to police who are also dealing with it as a revenge porn charge x
