Just wondering about moderation on the Ireland forum

We have some particular Irish expressions and a sense of humour thats slightly different

Do the moderators on this forum understand that or are they actually Irish moderators

Some of the posts seem to be causing problems and well verified site supporters are getting banned as a result

Someone was banned today as they were accused of abuse towards another profile on a thread

It was a joke comment towards the other profile which was me and I certainly didnt take offense so please dont ban on my behalf

Can the ban be removed

Moderators don't need to come from a certain place to moderate the forum, they just need to moderate to the rules set by Admin. A different sense of humour than another person doesn't come into it if a post breaks rules.

If someone has had a ban and they don't believe it is the right one then they can ask for it to be reviewed from the contact link
