Can't connect to the site on a windows 10 desktop computer using Nord VPN

Anyone know why this happens please? I've tried turning my anti virus off temporarily and messing with the VPN settings, but I get a message in the browser that says 'fabswingers.com refused to connect'.

Any suggestions appreciated!

Or I get to the login page and it won't login.

Only Admin will be able to say for sure, but where are you & where is NordVPN telling Fab that you are?

Princes Risborough, Luasanne, Alderney

open nordvpn

click on settings

on the 'general' page turn off 'cyber sec'

hopefully that should sort it for you

"Why use a vpn for this site?

The same reason for using a VPN for any site. The primary reason for using a VPN is to prevent your usage from being tracked and then profited from by your ISP.

As a very basic generalisation. While the actual content of what is being transmitted between your browser and a remote service is encrypted (that's the "S" part of https) and can't be snooped on by intermediary links, things like DNS requests (the domain part) is not encrypted and for 99.9% of people they will be using the DNS server their ISP provides. So basically every time you click on anything there will be a timestamp stored on your ISP's servers of exactly what you're doing. This information is a major digital footprint and is absolutely being used for profit by your ISP.

Why ever not have a VPN on?

What's wrong with wanting to keep my browsing private from my Internet Service Provider?
