I have blocked profiles without public photos from messaging me but they are still arriving. Is this a known bug? Should I turn it off and turn it on again, lol?

I think it's a glitch , same as when using the search feature ... despite ticking profiles with public pics only , half the results have no pics

I thought that was only happening to me lol thought something wrong or was I clicking something by mistake lol

I have a suspicion that friends only photos get treated as public photos by the system. But also it seems that sometimes people will make a photo public long enough to send a message, then hide it again afterwards.

It's simple. People make a picture public, message you, then make it private again

Also people with "friends only" pics somehow are counted in by the filter. Its very annoying and has been the case forever sadly.

It's usually when they make a pic public to message you once tbey send the message they make it private again. I wondered the same and a guy who had messaged me told me he did that because be really wanted to message me
