Women getting flooded with messages

For all their faults, one thing dating apps get right is that they allow the women control who can interact with them. This approach could significantly reduce the amount of emails a lady receives in a day from 300 to 5.

The best part is you don’t have to get rid of the warm and fuzzy feeling some people get from knowing so many people are interested in them. You can let members know how many people are interested in them but only let the people they are also interested in interact with them.

What if they could choose down to the individual? So they don’t have to be inundated with hundreds of messages a day from men they don’t even fancy.

I find having a profile that everyone hates, using filters, and blocking repeat offenders works really well to get my mail down to manageable levels.

What if you didn’t have to write your profile to dissuade decent people? What if you could avoid receiving a lot of the offensive messages in the first place? What if you could significantly reduce the number of people you needed to block?

My profile isn’t written to dissuade decent people. Decent people can read it and recognise whether we might be a good fit and act accordingly. Those who can’t manage that get deleted. And let me be clear here - I probably only get one message a month (apart from people I’m already talking to) on average from someone who has read my profile and is attractive and interesting enough to reply to. No-one gets overlooked because I have too many messages, I simply don’t get many good messages. I don’t really see how Fab could introduce anything that would improve that.

Once again, fabs have all the options to do just this.

You can filter 99%+ of the site so you don't get any offensive messages at all.

Getting no unwanted messages reduces the number of people I block

It's all in message filters

Well that's not true it has some filters but not all available on other sites not even half if we are telling the truth. It has basic filters which essentially are all or nothing with little change in over a decade.
