See I wouldn't see that as timewasting, a pain in the arse maybe but to me a timewaster is someone who makes arrangements then doesn't turn up and fails to contact you with a genuine reason.

Messaging doesn't mean you're on a promise - they might change their mind or something might come up - why should they tell you that if they've not made arrangements with you?

What one person counts as timewasting will always be different to what someone else thinks

To me not turning up to an arranged meet would be classed as wasting my time

To others not replying to messages is classed as wasting their time - I disagree writing to some one I'll never want to meet is wasting my time not theirs

Others will see the irony about wasting time writing forum posts about people wasting time
