Hi how is it that you we have blocked single males from messaging yet still receive messages from them ?

If you’ve ever interacted with a profile - I think that includes winks as well as messages - they’ll still be able to message you in spite of your filters.

Thanks for that although think it’s strange if they have messages years ago and we now wish to change the filters but history can still message

It’s a bit annoying sometimes, as when I first joined I used to reply to as many messages as possible even if it was no thanks. So now I still get people messaging me in spite of my filters just because I said no thanks to them a year ago.

People complain about not getting replies and say that it’s rude not to reply, but the way the site works it’s actually better not to reply if you’re not interested. Unfortunately I didn’t work that out for ages!
