I sometimes will post that I am going to a club event and post up that the club has an event because I am wanting people that I want to meet to go.

But I am sure admin can see when its a greedy girl like me looking for extras.. rather than just a 2nd advert for a club.

I tend to do it for my two local club events.. and its working well for me.

So why not just message the people you want to go to tell you are going? Or announce that you are going in your status page?

Surely that is a bit more direct than adding another advert for a club event?

Warrington & Glasgow

I think the OP was referring to people who repeatedly advertise events at clubs at which they work or have close associations with. They advertise them as Club Meets, rather than Club Events, which many of the Clubs use.

Maybe Admin should limit the number of Club Meets that one user can post for one day? Maybe Admin could issue each club with a username that they can use to advertise Events?

But, it's difficult to differentiate between this type of advert and a genuine meet from a club regular!
