"I use a Chromebook which won't allow flash at all because it is no longer supported, which could represent a security risk. " Flash is still supported on chrome, until 31st December. Google have made it more fiddly to use but it still works. I used chrome to cam with but switched to edge. I appreciate you can't do this on a chromebook. Its annoying as quite a lot of websites still use flash for various things.

"I use a Chromebook which won't allow flash at all because it is no longer supported, which could represent a security risk. " On a Chromebook are you using the Chromium browser? According to the chromium.org flash-roadmap, they won't remove support until release 88 targeted for Jan 2021. Is that page now out of date?

"Flash is apparently still supported in Chrome for Chromebook but disabled bt default. So this needs to be re-enabled through the Content Settings of Chrome. So may be worth trying the following steps: 1) In the URL bar (website address bar), type chrome://settings/content/flash to open the Flash Settings page. 2) Click the first toggle button for "Ask first" to allow and enable sites to run Flash. Then refresh the web page that uses Flash in order to see Flash content. Hope this helps..." tried this many many times in my chromebook ... still wont work ,i give up!
