Wouldn't it be good if we could have an invisible (ghost) mode so we could come online and not be bombarded with mail as soon as we do.

And come out of it when we want toi

Can't remember where I seen this before SH I think it was

I guess it's just possible to switch off receiving messages using message filters? Or just hide your profile?

Actually they can plus if your on someone's hotlist or friends you still show when online. All hiding profile does is stops your actual profile being viewed plus you can't be found via searching

Yes, understand you are still visible. But if you’re hidden. and a conversation had already taken place, you can still be messaged through the old messages while hidden? That seems badly thought out.

You definitely can’t message someone hidden who is not already a message recipient though.

You can, along with add to hotlist, add as friend, block and report

My couples account is currently hidden while the Male half is working away, freakyfuntime, I bet you can message it lol

It's always been like that I think. It's like the public picture message filter, if you have friend only pics the filter doesn't stop messages. Annoying flaws that would be easy to sort

It would be a great idea for the users but not for the site as it would reduce the perceived activities. Most women have the look at me mode in stealth if the site went for log in stealth mode then there would appear to be only a few women on line and men would not be paying for membership as the perception would be its not worth it. You have to remember the site is primarily used to generate money for the owners rather than convenience for the users.
