A good friend of mine is hosting a party to raise cash for Thomas Cook employees who have lost their jobs.

Two of her very close friends both single mums with kids lost their jobs.

It will be in Manchester before Christmas at an exclusive venue and £30 a couple. Dressing as pilots and cabin staff will be compulsory. There will be some airplane type games on the night and plenty of duty free for everyone to help them John the mile high club.

Further details to follow soonest. There will also be a buffet - hopefully it will be better than the muck served on planes.
