Halloween at Townhouse just got a bit mental! We are going all out this year to bring you a party which is just a little bit fuckin' trippy! Lol

American Horror story has been a Halloween staple on our TV’s since 2011 with 9 series (inc 2019) all having their own twisted theme. We are taking these themes and transforming areas all around the club in homage to AHS and we invite you to think up a crazy costume and join us for a night to remember.

This is a swinging party first and foremost and we expect you to embrace your inner freak on the dancefloor and in the playrooms! However, Halloween at Townhouse is more than just a swinging party, it’s an EVENT and you simply can’t miss it!

On approaching the club, and the foyer, there will be hints of season 1 and 3…Murder House and Coven. The Coven theme will continue through the bar until you reach our lounge, which becomes season 4, Freak Show….

Go up a level and you will find scenes from seasons 2 and this years season 9 – Asylum and 80s Slasher Movie.

Go up again and there will be scenes from seasons 5 and 8, Hotel and Apocalypse. There will be hints of season 7 dotted around the club (Cult) but we are not adding season 6 (Roanoke) to the sets as, quite frankly, it was a shit series and doesn’t deserve our effort! Lol

So there’s LOADS of inspo here for your outfits, from traditional witches and ghosts, to circus freaks, serial killers, devil worshippers and general institutionalised psychos!

We are offering an amazing prize to the best dressed and I’m afraid to say that costumes are compulsory to add to the vibe of the event. Don’t forget your dress down outfits for later when you want to get filthy! There will be a 'photo booth' area for you to get some piccies of your outfits and capture some crazy memories.

This is a TICKET ONLY party and we expect it to be a sell out, so don’t hang around. I can't put the ticket link here, but you will find it on our profile.

Couples £25

Females/TGirls £10

Single guys £30 (only 8 places for single guys members)

There will be food, sweet treats, shots and my own witches brew! (There has to be a bit of cheesiness thrown into the mix)

Doors open at 8.30pm, last entry is 10pm (9.30pm for newbies). Doors close at 3am. Overnights are available for £15 per person and this needs to be booked and paid for directly with the club either by PM here or by emailing infotownhouse@aol.com

There's surprisingly a lot of people who haven't seen AHS!! Therefore, they have no idea what sort of costume to wear. So hear is a list of ideas you could take inspiration from:

Murder House - Anything murderer or psychotic doctor related, ghosts.

Asylum - nuns (demonic is more interesting lol), anything to do with being a psychiatric in patient in an horrific asylum...being experimented on, locked up, tortured. Crazy evil nurses and doctors.

Coven - sassy, hip witches who are more into Bitchcraft. Alternative, confident and sassy. Voodoo priestess. Zombies. Minotaur

Freak Show (my fave) - Bearded Lady, conjoined twins, lobster boy, 3 breasted lady, ringmaster, Twisty the killer clown, Meep, Clairvoyant, Dandy the clown, Dominatrix.

Hotel - Vampires, any serial killer (but the following were featured in the series John Wayne Gacy, Zodiac, Jeffrey Dahmer, Richard Ramirez and Aileen Wuornos. Lady Gaga, anything 1920's/Art Deco, anything demonic, drug addict, ghosts.

Roanoke - don't bother, it was shite

Cult - Donald Trump, Purge masks/purge related, anything political (the idea around this series was powerful politicians can be just as scary as clowns and serial killers)

Apocalypse - Feisty witches again, warlocks, the devil/antichrist, anything end of days, ghosts, latex all in one (the rubber man), BDSM, voodoo queen.

AHS 1984 - Think 1980s slasher movies like Friday the 13th and Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street.

So guys and gals, there's LOADS of inspo here and you don't even need to watch the series as research....but I think you really should, it's amazing! lol xx

As per the terms and conditions on the ticket when you bought it, it's not transferable to another event or person. So photo ID must be shown to match the name on the ticket. If you have sold your ticket to someone else, it is void and cannot be used to gain entry on the night.

ok guys and gals, it's going to be packed to the rafters tonight and I want to get you booked in as quickly as possible so you don't miss out on any fun!

Soooo, please have your ticket ready, either in hard copy or on your phone, your ID to prove you are the named person on the ticket and your membership card if you have one.

Any new guests won't be able to get a membership tonight as we will be too busy to do the form filling, but our hosts and buddies will be on hand to give you a tour and get you settled in.

I would appreciate any single ladies coming together to share lockers so we don't run out...mwah

Finally, don't forget, since 1st August, we are no longer a BYOB club but our bar is stupidly cheap and we will have free shots and 'witches brew' to start you off!

Well, that was one absolutely off the scale amazing party!!!!!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and you all looked fabulous in your Halloween outfits! You embraced the American Horror Story theme and it was so hard to pick our winner! But the prize of 2 tickets to see We Will Rock You went to Luna and Larry...Larry emulated Liz Taylor wonderfully! Google Liz Taylor AHS if you're curious!

The special buffet was scoffed, the luxurious cakes were wolfed, the dance floor bounced and the playrooms rocked!

I think it's safe to say that this was our best Halloween party to date!

Hope you liked our special decor this year; it was a labour of love and too see you all in your garb dancing under our Big Top 'tent', it was worth it!

Thanks to our staff and buddies for helping us pull of such a wonderful night x

Don't forget our Caligula Roman Orgy party in November and the tickets are on sale for NYE

All the costumes were fabulous and the staff as ever were like super little fairies serving drinks and changing beds as if at the flick of a wand you guys rock we couldn’t have the amazing time without the work you guys put in it’s very much appreciated! OMG!!! Just recovered from last night. My feet still think they are running around!! lol

What an amazing night with a club decorated spectacularly, some amazing costumes on such a sexy lot too!! The prize for best dressed was well deserved. The laundry box was full to brimming after the amount we changed, sign of a good filthy night that!!
