While most of you were busy planning your Festive celebrations, we were busy behind the scenes finalising plans to bring the BMFC up to the North East

We are HONOURED to have been approached by the owners of CLUB F who are eager to experience the way the BMFC Members Party!!

A FANTASTIC venue with the BEST staff and the FRIENDLIEST members!!

We KNOW that our two communities will FIT WELL together and we cant wait to bring the BMFC VIBE up North!

1) hot tub,

2) sauna,

3) steam room,

4) private playrooms,

5) Bobs dungeon,

6) group rooms,

7) dark room,

8) Amsterdam room and more

This venue really does have SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE – PLUS no need to search around for local accommodation as they have HOTEL ROOMS on site, PLUS they offer CRASH facilities too!!!

Door times 8pm till 1.30am

Single Guys – £35

Couples – £25

Single Ladies – £10

Exciting times are ahead so if you want to be part of our LAUNCH NIGHT, reserve YOUR place NOW to avoid disappointment

The one and only Mr BMFC is gutted I can’t attend this lunch there some instresting ppl going I see I will hopefully try and make the February one I also have been looking for an excuse to try this club !! And I have to keep my reparation up by attending every BMFC Veune across the country

My thoughts exactly! It was my first time at Club F last night and I must comment on the hospitality of the staff, who were great. A very good tour of the facilities and great bar staff. Unfortunately we did leave just after midnight as we were left very disappointed with the turn-out of the guests who were actually there for the BMFC event. Having organised and hosted events myself, I understand that it is beyond the control of the hosts/club to guarantee who will actually attend, however, when you attend a BMFC party, you do expect a good turn-out. I travelled three hours to attend this event (each way) and do similar journeys regularly, however, when there was probably less than 5 single black guys and the hosts of the event don’t even show (or acknowledged their absence via the Forum), it leaves me feeling very disappointed after my efforts to support the night. I wish you all the luck at this venue but really not a great start.

There was more than 5 in tbh and I'm sorry u didn't have a good time tbf it was the 1st time we've held this event so it can and will only get bigger and better so I do hope u will come back and try our wonderful club again xx

We apologise for not being at the event however my brother was rushed into Intensive Care and is currently seriously ill

We did ask the owners to inform everyone and send our apologies and we are sorry if this was not passed on as you entered the venue

When my brother was taken ill we had two choices - cancel the party in which case people will have lost hotel money etc or go ahead with the party knowing that the owners are more than capable of running an event

We decided to go ahead and we are sorry if you feel that we made the wrong decision but we did not hsve long to fully think things through

Everyone who knows us, knows that we are professional and conscientious and we would NEVER just 'not turn up'

However we have had a copy of the guest list and cam say that were certainly more than 5 single Black Guys

Hi Charlotte, thank you for taking time to reply. I do hope that it improves for the club as you have some lovely facilities.

Perhaps there was a couple more than 5...maybe the odd one hiding in corners where I didn’t spot them but it was most definitely the most poorly attended (by single men) ‘interracial’ event that I’ve been to and I’ve been to a lot! When the ratios are so uneven, for an event that is intended to be focused on black men, it’s inevitable that it will be a frustration. Good luck to Club F in your ventures. Bunny x

Exactly, we’ve had an awful time the past few days. And as important as the BMFC and our guests are to us, I’m sure you’ll all agree that family comes first.

Even if we were there though, we can’t force people to come. If people put their names on a guest list and don’t turn up - all we can do is take note of their non-attendance and send an email to them. However, we are always mindful that emergencies do happen, cars do break down and babysitters do let you down etc.

Trust us though, we would rather not be in the situation we are now. If we could’ve been there - we would’ve!

Of course, this is understandable but I can assure you that we were not informed about this upon arrival. I am sorry to hear about your personal circumstances and I appreciate family comes first.

With regards to the numbers, my statement in my earlier post was “there was probably no more than five single black guys”. I didn’t provide a definitive number but I was sat at the bar for over three hours and therefore I was certainly able to acknowledge the very poor attendance.

Best of luck in the North East and I hope your brother makes a speedy recovery.

It was the first BMFC event and the atmosphere was electric right from the start, there were more than 5 guys and the building is a big building and it often happens that you dont see people from start to finish, but there were more than 5.

It would have been great if more had come, but it is a start and to be fair, its not happened up here before (BMFC)and maybe things will take a few events to build up, it is a long way to travel for some but lets give it time and faith in that people will travel as it builds.

The fact that some people travelled over 3hrs each way! Wow, and although I didnt ask everyone where they travelled from but I know there were people from Wales, Birmingham, London. That is fantastic support, keep faith and keep your support and it will be a great night.

Now I know that there were teething problems and we are going to address the music at the club. Thats a promise.

The organisers had alot to contend with and please dont feel angry about that as you guys know their reputation , we all did our best and hang in there ladies and come on up guys.

To be fair, the people on the BMFC guest list were a really nice group of people, it was lovely to have you as guests at Clubf and we really hope you all, plus more, try and become regular attendees at this Club.

For me, the atmosphere was brilliant and in 10 years here I have seldom felt the vibes as good as that.

Thank you to you all and roll on Feb event.

Perhaps we can just put the night down as a series of unfortunate events. Certainly wasn't what I'm used to when attending interracial parties, including previous BMFC nights, but like Bunny said above you can't control who does and doesn't turn up.

Prices need bringing down to £5 for single men. £35 will put off the people who need to be there for the theme of the party to happen. Just an ordinary night disappointed but there were other fun things and nice people.

Well I travelled all the way from Dubai, and even though it was a BMFC night. It didn’t seem like it. However the night is what you make of it. I had one of the best swinging nights of my life at Club F!

When I come back into the country I am always looking to see what event is on there, so I know if my long drive from Manchester is worth it.

The club is incredible and the staff are amazing.

I will be definitely be back again, hopefully my dates will tie in with this event too.
