The BIGGEST event begins NEXT WEEK !!!!..

..With hundreds already booked we HAVE smashed last years records yet again . SF 2016 is going to raise the bar further. More themed areas , already more clubs getting aboard and some new surprises as well as the return of some swingfields favourites ! Accomodation options have ended and LAST FEW TICKETS are online, the committee Are planning to deliver another amazing weekend . So come and join us for a weekend of fun and friendships that last year after year , whatever your level of experience this is THE event not to miss. (June 30th - july 3rd) last batch of tickets now ON SALE - dont miss out as many categories are already sold out)

Local weather forecast is dry, partly sunny 14 degrees at night which is very mild and 20 degrees in the day which is ok !

Birkenhead/Liverpool

Townhouse is hosting a 40ft Couples play tent with lots of trimmings and you will find free condoms, lube, mints and sweeties in there.

Also, as with last year, Townhouse members are invited to join us at or camper for a drink or 3! So around 1pm til 2pm on Friday 1st July, come on over for a bevvie on us

There are loads of Townhouse Tarts going to Swingfields this year, it will be like a home from home weekend!! lol

We really can't wait to see everybody again and I don't intend slipping a disc again this year, so expect to see me bouncing all over the place...and jelly wrestling of course!!!

The main things people forget are ( I used to work festivals was what we was always asked for )

Towels!!

Binbags.

Carrier bags you can tie over shoes to stop them getting muddy or line the inside of boots shoes or wee in them at night its gale force weather outside and it's dark lol ( ssh that's a top tip make sure tie knot in top though lol )

Light / lantern torch

spare batteries

Tin opener if taking own food.

Phone chargers/ power packs

Insect repellent

First aid kit

In addition

I'm taking flag pole n flag to find tent at night large citronella candle

And pinching rest off everyone else x

My camping stuff is now out on back table n ready .. just clothes to sort saturdsy xx

Anyway he has just booked to attend this year and he is so excited and I'm sure if you don't know him now, you will know him in just over a week as he is such a friendly incredible person.

Hee is looking for a lift from London to the Swingfield venue, or he can travel to wherever you are within reason if you are not near London.

We've always used a bucket with a lid as temp loo, weeing in to a bag at night possible intoxicated can produce mixed results

The rest of that list is very good basic requirements especially wet weather gear easier to take n not use than not have at all...

Obviously the wrong type of bags 15 years at shows and markets and ours were definitely holeless lol..

I couldnt spit in a nappy sack let alone pee in one .. lol

WE actually used to put them in a bucket and then tie knot as stops knocking over at night in dark too)

but as this is obviously controversial and only a rain option i suggest wellies and umbrella and a leap of faith instead then lol xx

There have always been plenty of toilets spread around the site so not usually very far to walk at all. As it is not a massive festival most tents etc were fairly close to the main arena not much more than a couple of hundred meters for the furthest.

The car park is in a different area to the tents but still close (if that makes sense!) However, sleeping in 'regular' cars/ vans is not permitted due to health and safety risks. (Caravans, campervans and motorhomes are obviously different)

2 days left for the last couple of tickets left for sale before we hit our 4th successive SELL OUT ! A massive thankyou for those already booked, its hard to believe we began 4 years ago with a little event for 200 people and we have, with your support grown into the biggest lifestyle event in the UK, and get bigger every year, and hopefully better based on your input and feedback that shapes this event. This year sees the return of true favourites, whilst mixing in some NEW surprises and features. A wider range of stalls, food vendors, the NEW table service Aurora Bar, our luxury toilets and showers and a professional team of helpers and supporters as well as our wonderful Security team.

All that remains now is for us to begin the process of building the site, this weekend so its ready for the arrival from around the world of our wonderful guests. We look forward to seeing you all next week.

We have breakfast running from around 7am to catch the early birds (or those who never made it back to their own tent the previous night ) with various food choices then running all through the day until midnight/ beyond.

Prices are good and there is a wider variety of choices this year
