Following on from the MASSIVE success and awesome night that was PHUKT

Deep Down promotions in association with Xtasia are proud to present

PHUKT 2 – The House sessions

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 30TH @ Xtasia 8pm – 4am

A journey through soulful, funky and hard underground house music at its best !!

Featuring a full line up of LIVE DJ’s including…

Blatant Jay ( Concious Club, Vybe FM, The Underground Solution )

Danny Mansfield ( Essance , Ibiza Trance Family , Gatecrasher, Kozmik.FM )

Ade Wilcox ( Miss MoneyPennys, Fuel )

PLUS A VERY VERY SPECIAL GUEST TBA

With a 4k Bluebox turbo sound system, enhanced lighting system we aim to bring you the very best in underground house music to get your groove on !!

Also introducing the all new ‘Cafe Del PHUKT’ relax and socialise in our meditteranean setting with the the soothing sounds of Soul, rare groove and chill out tunes.

This event is a couples and single females only event, however you may couple up for the evening should you still wish to attend but you will need to arrive, stay and leave as a couple.

Advance tickets are now available via credit/debit card by calling the number on the Xtasia website and having your card ready, plus you can also get your discounted rooms at the Premier Inn next door by calling or visiting West Bromwich Hotels to book on-line (Do not pay more than £49 for a double room at the Premier Inn).

Advance booking guarantee’s entry, however should you choose to arrive and pay on the door we cannot guarantee entry should capacity be reached so we suggest you book early to avoid disappointment.

Dress code once again does not apply but we do ask you make an effort ( no ripped tatty jeans and football shirts please lol )

You do not need to be members of Xtasia for this event.

There will be a ZERO tolerance policy on any kind of illegal substance abuse.

As a dj I can honestly say for those of you have never been to a club where Brandon has been playing you are in for a big treat its been 12 years since I dj'd with him and it still brings a smile to my face. Awesome I know a lot of big night clubs who would kill to book Brandon block !!!

Ok peeps just to clarify on ticket booking.....

There is no option to book online, however simply visit the _tasia website and give Paul a call on the number and he will take your payment details over the phone and then send your ticket confirmation etc via email

Booking in advance will save you £5

I can't say we saw any single guys behaving badly. It is a bit silly sometimes the way they are treated.

Ok guys and girls im gonna step in here, just to clarify the behaviour of the single guys at the first event was exceptional and there were no issues whatsoever.

Also as the event is on a Sat night Xtasia rules are that its a couples only night. We have no problem with singles coupling up for the event but as stated they need to arrive , stay and leave as a couple.

Some couples have their preferences regarding single guys and im sure the previous poster meant no offence

Lets all just look forward to an even bigger and better PHUKT 2

We dont mean anyone causing trouble not at all everyone was very well behaved. Just that as we did not get there till mid night by 2am there just seemed to be a lot of guys left thats all. We put on a small show for a cpl of them

Im certain the success of the previous event was, for the large part because of single men being there.

It's the single guys who generate a certain unique exciting energy for all the girls respond to and it is this friction that is necessary to provide a platform for a special memorable night.

This highlights the major piont of the fact that thanks to our fantastic organisers, we have an exclusive opportunity to enjoy BRANDON BLOODY BLOCK!

This is a celebration that ought to be shared by us all and especially by all those who showed such enthusiasm and gradititude for a real dance event on the bank holiday Sunday.

No one can deny the real devotion was for dance that night in favour of the play rooms!

In the swinging community one thing I am proud of is an ethos of equality. Again at this piont l credit sam and Jamie and xstaxia for pulling off another big night in November but to deny entry to our single guys is elitist.

The admission policy without single men may as well be couples only.

I can't speak for all the single girls but we like to be where the single boys are. As opposed to the "add ons"

Most single girls feel just as alienated because 'no single men' for most of us means, 'not worth going'. Or worse, pretending to be a couple with a single guy?

Finally I would like to stress that that this message is not intended to criticise any of our phuked providers but it s more of a plea really. For the admission our single lads. For the benefit of us all. But mostly for mine!

Its a Saturday night, therefore club policy is No Single guys, like every other saturday.

If it was a bank holiday sunday (like last time) then it would be different.

Besides, single guys are not blocked from attending - they just need to bring a female +1.

So they must arrive with their +1, stay with their +1 all night and leave with their +1.

Pretty sure Xtasia themselves will be happy to contribute on this matter.

Have to say i agree with everything the lady said there.

Having attended the first Phukt event as a single guy, especially as all the single guys were well behaved, it has left a slightly bitter taste in the mouth to now be excluded from Phukt 2, simply because of my sex.

This could have easily been avoided by holding the event on a friday or sunday night again, if saturdays have to be kept for couples and single ladies only.

I have now actually considered taking my custom elsewhere and taking out a membership at a different club because of this. Not sure what to make of it all really?

Ok guys and ladies

So to address the first issue of single guys not being allowed to attend.

We did not want to wait till the next bank holiday ( march 2014 ) to do another event therefore our next opportunity turned out to be a Sat. Knowing that this was a couples only night we negotiated with the club owners and made an allowance for single guys to attend if coupling up.

We know that the single guys that attended the first event were extremely well mannered and behaved and this was done on a 10% ratio to couples in order to keep a balance. We are not elitist and are happy to allow single guys at our events and have negotiated for this one on their behalf so please dont think we have deliberately excluded them.

We have to go by the club rules. We cannot do a friday simply due to our family /home and work committments.

Future events will also cater for all, including a HUGE event next summer. We have done our best to try and cater for all but unfortunately sometimes we have to go by outside rules and respect them and the clubs decisions. We are working closely with Xtasia and have plans for future events over the next 6 months so there will be a chance for all singles to attend.

We are doing our best to build an awesome event for EVERYONE to enjoy so bear with us if there are occassions where we cannot meet everyones demands in one go.

We do fully appreciate all the support we have been given it has been overwhelming

Think we need to explain our stance.

We have inherited a club, that for the last 20 years has run Singles welcome on Friday night, and Couples welcome on Saturday. When we first took over the club, we ran a massive vote to see if people would like that changed, and we considered every possible option, including swapping the nights, allowing in verified singles, singles with couples, etc. From our 8,000 plus membership, the massively overwhelming response was to keep Saturdays Couples Only....and they (our existing members), are our bread and butter.

The other problem we have is that many, infact most, members don't worry about the "Whats On" pages. They just come along on a Saturday night, knowing its couples only, and are not worried about which night it is from our agenda. We have agreed to add this into our diary on the basis of it being the 5th Saturday in the month, and doesn't interfere with our other new existing evenings, but it will still be a massive shock to some arrivals when they walk in and find its a rave evening. However they can still escape that if they wish, by going to the chill area, or playrooms, however to change it to a singles welcome night would cause real issues.

We have given Sam and Jamie choices throughout the year, 2014, and these include Fridays as well as Saturdays, and Sunday Bank Holidays, so there is plenty of opportunity to do as we already do with our foam parties, and that is to alternate them for the two audiences throughout the year. If 4 are planned, then 2 for couples only, and 2 for singles as well. That way both parties within the swing scene get nights out. If you don't mind either way, and/or are happy to make up couples for the night, you get to go to all 4.

We appreciate its not an ideal solution, however its the best we can offer as an existing, established, swingers venue. The other choice would be to go out and hire a hall, etc. but you'd then loose the play side, so its swings and roundabouts a little at the moment. Sorry if we are upsetting existing members by this, however what we are doing is actually listening to the majority of you.
