Jesus wept, single guys typically have one of the most difficult situations to try and get involved and meet as it is, yet continually in every club they're absolutely rinsed on the ticket prices. £50 !!! Why not just make the prices reasonable for single males but cap numbers instead of just being greedy and overcharging.

(Speaking as someone who's well verified and I believe to be a decent guy).

Doesn't sit right at all, I won't be paying it, good luck to the single fellas who in their own head can somehow justify this!

And I don't aim this just at Cupids, same could be said for the majority. This place was going to be where I hoped to try

This is nonsense, when you factor in that it's always 50/30 for single males, not just NYE or "supply and demand". Even though it's fairly often that they have staff posting statuses stating they need more blokes to attend.

Also not sure why you mention hotels in Cupid's favour; as many need to book those (or travel) on top of the daft entry prices.

I don’t get why people are moaning about Cupids prices for NYE.

It was the same for Halloween and most if not all party nights this year. Most clubs I would say for single guys are 20 quid plus on a normal night, looking at others clubs that I have been to actually Cupids is on the cheaper scale

London clubs are 3 times more expensive on a Normal night

Hi, I live in London and planning some travelling adventures around NYE, as it's a shame how little I saw from this country apart from London tho I live here for 10 years now.

Daytime tourism and night-time party are what I plan and this event sounds so much fun! Is that possible to add me to the guest list, noting that it's only about 80% now that I can be there? I will confirm yes/no 3-4 days before if it's okay.

For the gent who complained about the £50 above: dude, come to London, single man tickets are £80-£90 all year round (not even for a special NYE party) if you want to go to a quality place. And they are still worth it! £50 for non-member guys for an NYE party is a bargain!

The price of something in London is irrelevant really.

People are complaining about the price in general, its not about it being £50 for NYE, its about it being £50 every week for single males. Which is ridiculous, especially when you consider that most weeks staff have statuses saying the club wants more males there.

If your going every weekend get a membership and then it reduces to 30 quid

After 3 weeks you have your money back. If you don’t like the prices don’t go. There are a number of single males that will pay this.

20 Entries of singles males makes them $1000 purely on the door; that's insane. Events that have 30+ staff, booked acts, sound rigs and security teams charge less than half.

Well I paid 30 quid. Met some wonderfully sexy people. Had a really good night. Had a few drinks and enjoyed myself

Watched people have fun, had some fun myself. Thanks to all the bar staff who worked very hard this evening.
