We are having an organised social for like minded people in the Peterborough, a chance to meet, share a drink, swap stories and maybe meet some playmates.

This event is aimed at couples and single ladies with single guys being permitted when accompanying a couple.

Spaces are limited as the social is behind close door and will be invite only. Private message for an invite.

I can think of more than one reason why it may not be the best idea, and that's not including the entry fee.

For me, an organised social is a chance to meet like-minded people from my area in a pub/cafe or another similar venue, where we all stay dressed for the event, having a drink or two and chat. I wouldn't want it being somewhere I'd have to spend money just to get in, unless that has been made very clear from the beginning.

I understand your points…we just thought when invited to most socials held in pubs etc…that we would spend more than the entry fee after two rounds of drinks…and that in a swing club there’s potential to play if sparks fly or not comfortable in a context correct environment.

But that’s just us….hence the question.

We always wondered why socials didn’t take place in a swinging venue as it’s a swinging social…to us seemed the perfect place.
