As we now have a little time on our hands, but very limited budgets, we thought why not get you all involved in some decision making and see if we can find some plans that work for us.

This is for active members please, no point commenting if you've never been to the club, or came once and only saw half the facilities. Its for those who know the way the club works day in day out.

Its with a limited budget, so please bear that in mind. We have no idea at the moment how long this is all going to last, and what other actions we, or the government will need to take, so we're not taking serious financial risks here. Tarmacking the entire driveway is not an option.

So, few starters for you to consider, and then feel free to add things you feel might be of interest to us. No promises this end, but will consider.

Folks have asked for more private play rooms in the building. They like some of the quirks, like the mirrors etc, but when it comes to actual playtime, they prefer private. Often we have bulbs unscrewed, or lights covered just to give them darkness.....so more private rooms?

Smoking area. Divide it in half and have one area for vapours and the other for smokers. Idea being the area is a real social hub, but many smokers stay out there all evening almost because its so comfortable. The party has moved outside. Make it slightly colder for those having a cigarette, so they revert to the 5 mins to smoke it, and then return to the social areas of the club. We also feel that those who vap shouldn't have to do it in an area of smokers, as they are trying to get away from that. The area does lend itself towards doing this, maybe do it over the summer months as a trial.

How do we turn Flirts into a real naughty hub in the community during the week? We want to attract you in, whats needed?

You get the idea hopefully, silly budget ones, or troll comments ignored lol. Sensible ones by friends of the club will be considered, priced up, and actioned if we can.

Yes please to the "more private rooms" idea, but they have to have a bed area big enough for 4 people to get on at once.

Smoking area, when she smoked I'd send Shel out there as it was much easier to strike up a convo out there than in the main club, similar now she vapes. I'd suggest the problem is really getting the same ease of convo going in the main club which would encourage the party back in from the smoking area anyway.

You know us, as Geordies we can and do speak to anyone, even through the language barrier, but at any club there are always groups of "regulars" who stick together and even we know it's hard to just waltz in and be accepted.

I'd suggest that finding a way to get total strangers talking to each other is the Holy Grail in a club. Sort that and you have cracked it !

If we lived closer we'd visit Flirts thro the week. We'd be expecting to chat to Paul or Toni and other staff, obviously plus other people there on the same night. But we'd also expect that as it's a swing club if we met others there that we fancied we'd be allowed to use a playroom for sex, maybe at a low extra charge to cover cleaning etc.

You have a pool table, do a strip pool comp. once a week, the banter it would create would be fun. We love playing pool at clubs (none have a table as good as yours) as once you involve other people it really breaks the ice.

Can you set up a pole in the bar area ? Maybe pole dancing lessons once a week, small extra charge maybe ?

Finally, cos we're ancient and decrepit we'd have liked to have a night dedicated to but obviously not exclusive to the over 50s.

Four lockable rooms we believe? Though only one for group play. The chill out lounge is certainly big enough for another lockable room, preferably with mirrors

In regard to the idea of splitting the smoking area and tempting smokers back inside. For us, personally, it is the best place to spark up a convo on a Fri/Sat night. Whether we are smoking or not.

We know it might be outside the budget but the leaks in the smoking area are a concern.

Also, we are old farts at heart so some older music would be appreciated.

Danny would like to add a personal request of "bring back the toasties"

We eagerly await the re-open and will be there when it happens.

I would suggest sofas on the back wall of the dance area. Maybe facing each other with table. We like listening to music, watching the sexy moves on the pole, but stools are uncomfortable and unpersonal. Agree with more private play rooms, and agree about targetting o40s as we have stopped coming, and now attend another club, as at the age of 49, we dont want to listen to hip hop. Similar with the cinema, always seems 'extremely hardcore interracial, believe it should be more mainstream and geared to female tastes. I would hazard a guess the average age demo is about 35, so I dont think we would be the only ones to think this.

LOVE the pole idea in the bar area, and having lessons would be GREAT as well!

We would definitely like more private rooms, the rooms that are there like the glory hole room to be darker, sofas or comfortable seating area in bar area, better porn in the cinema room and the chill out room, a room with a swing in it, and if budget allows and rotating bed. Just our thoughts

We probably spend to much time in smoking area, but that is so we can sit and chat with others. If there where some comfortable seats and tables around the dancefloor we would spend a lot more time there.

I can't see the smoking area thing working, once people are outside they will mingle, and if smokers aren't allowed in the vapers area, the vapers will just go out to the smokers and you'll have an empty vaping room.

More lockable rooms.

Maybe do something with the dogging attic room - although it is difficult given its shape.

Better seating in the dance floor area - perhaps move the dance floor so it is against the wall by the DJ booth and have the bar area railed off creating a seating area between the two? Move the poles nearer to the walls on a slightly raised area for better viewing from the bar (and potentially a new seating area)

Porn - it always seems the be the same hardcore interracial domination... Something more varied and softer, and vary it by the type of event on that particular night.

Single guys in playroom corridors - trying to get into rooms and whooping and hollering. Perhaps the upstairs couples room could become a couples and singles room and the downstairs room couples and single ladies only. The exception being for single guys accompanied by couples or a woman to access the smaller play rooms?

Create a shared smoking area for the main club and flirts. Then use the old smoking area (A) for a jacuzzi cabin and use the current Jacuzzi area for more play rooms. Or (B) some wood built lockable play rooms.

A lot of suggestions, but having said the above it’s a great venue even without changes!

The smoking area of any club is usually the busiest so that will be tricky changing where members congregate.

Ideas that wouldn't be so costly is additions to the playrooms. Like a wipeable sex sling (swings with straps aren't that great) and other types of furniture that is easily cleaned

Additional rooms could be tricky unless you're considering adding more to the building via an extension.

Plumbing for the showers could be upgraded cold water isn't great even more so after the jacuzzi. It isn't so bad cold shower before you jump in the jacuzzi as it warms you up quickly. The body driers I don't believe I've seen working since I've been attending the club. So new ones would be awesome.

I personally love the club I've yet to have sex in any of the rooms but I've seen the whole club and newest bookable rooms you've done look amazing.

Additional furniture and more comfortable seating inside would go down a treat. Being short and fat the stools are uncomfortable I rarely sit unless I'm outside smoking (when there's space )

Most of our thoughts are nothings broke so dont fix it, we and anyone we speak to are happy with everything and the way things are really.smokers area is great as is,any club even non swinging its allways gonna be the same lol.

Allways been able to make one playroom work for whatever weve been needing. Maybe have one more lockable room large enough for 2 couples and have a dimmer switch for the lights accessible?

Agree with the bulks of single guys loitering in the corridors of the play rooms, can be annoying sometimes but then have used them to our advantage before for a spontaneous gang bang and theres always a Saturday night to attend if singles males are a problem i guess lol

Sofas or something would be good in the bar area, great for chilling,people watching and socialising.

Most importantly can you shift this Coronavirius so we can all come play

Xtasia has bookable private rooms, if people want more privacy can book the rooms. The round bed with rings looks extremely fun and they have multi bed rooms for group private fun. So asking for more lockable rooms for privacy when they already have them available if you ask nicely for a tour I'm sure they will gladly show you they've put a lot of work into them.

Etiquette is if a door is closed and there are people inside is to leave them be. If someone insists on entering inform staff. Also limiting time in the lockable rooms is fair, it would be unfair for individuals to use a lockable room for long periods denying the chance of others using it.

Not sure what the solution is, but on quieter nights the bar / dancefloor area is a bit on the big side and doesn’t force people together enough? Too easy to go and sit in the corner? Maybe screen some of the area off a bit?

Apart from that, lick of paint and run a rug doctor over the bar area carpet, it can get slightly sticky?

I agree with the seating. I would love to see more cosy sofas facing each other ect in the main area. I know there’s plenty of sofas up stairs but the porn puts me off. I would prefer to listen to low music

Just a thought... Maybe put the Camera Room in the room behind the chill room. I know quite often, that is the one play room not in use down stairs. It would be even more naughty too to come out to your audience.

That way you could create another private room downstairs.

Not sure I agree with more lockable rooms, but do agree with more areas to play. Especially bringing it more into the main area. Main area is massive but always feels like you have to then go off to a small area to play taking away spontaneity that other clubs have. So why not have some caged rooms in the far corner of main bar, with sofa seating outside, that way gives people option of voyeur but still control who comes in. How about turn chill out room into a maze leading to couples room(be good on all nights then) A better connection of flirts to Xtasia - so can make use of extra space and rooms but without it being to totally different places - unless needed on a specific night.

I agree it’s feels too big on a quiet night. Turn upstairs into a smaller bar / dance floor so that people can use that and have a good atmosphere with fewer people... the multi level couples room at the attic is fun... maybe build something like that ? Lighting is the key in all these places. Get that right at the the atmosphere is great. Reds and pinks and blues. Maybe a black light room?

Tried splitting in the past, problem is it also splits stock, and staff, gives us a real headache, and at the end of the day, wasn't used. Lighting we are looking at.

"Update. 2 new private playrooms built, grope box extended, carpets had first clean, paints out and ready for everywhere! It’s all go and this is giving us a chance to get stuff done. Thanks to all offering help, really is appreciated but we just don’t want to invite anyone in to help as vulnerable people around us. very occasionally during the summer we do end up trying to cool the building down by opening the far doors, but the failsafe is always for them to close automatically. Guessing you visited on a very hot night, but yes, new summer plan should reduce this issue.

All of the suggestions are good but the one that would really make a difference for me would be a sofa/comfy seating area near the dance floor. The only place people tend to chat in bulk is in the smoking area, as I go to the club on my own I hate standing by the bar feeling like a lemon, it’d be much easier for me to approach people if there was group seating (and music not too loud). I find the porn off putting in the comfy seating upstairs but I know lots of people like it

it’s an established social area ..

smokers , vapors or not ..

it’s just cool down area

Seal up leaks

Put bin for rubbish...

Wether divided or not the area is outside

And I fir one get sneezes and irratable eyes from a lot of various scents from vapes ...

as s smoker myself I wouldn’t ask them to stop ..

just take tissues lol

Most are courteous

And will step away from non smokers when they liteup

however that’s my opinion

I find anyone who goes outside expects the smoke area to have smokers !!

Sign post it clearly as a smoke / vape area so anyone who may not like being In the area could put to the front covered area by reception and make that a specific no smoke / vape social area

Stop bragging, that was easy, just take the light bulbs out in one of the rooms !!! Actually the main club dungeon would be good for that, leave all the equipment in and in the dark, you'd not know if you were shagging a woman bent over or the vaulting horse.

The room that backs on to the peep/glory holes. Could have some covers fitted on the peep holes. That way if couples want 100% privacy they can have, if they are happy to put on a show they can.

Maybe the smallest bit of light in the most tucked away part of the dark corridor surrounding the grope room. Maybe even just a glow stick.

This is just so you can make out bodies, without standing on feet/legs etc. Dark doesn't have to mean Pitch Black.

I'm not a fab of loads of locked rooms, seems you may as well be at home! But I'm obviously in a minority lol.

I second the smoke problem. The smell does filter into the main room. Maybe just a sign saying keep door closed?

Might have known you'd use the "opportunity" to do something worthwhile with the time.

Ignore the dress down suggestions. Not being a dress down club is a USP. You’d lose custom by changing this.

More lockable, private play rooms would be great if possible.

Allowing visitors to get the security code to the door on the night so they aren’t standing on the street waiting for someone to answer would be nice.

Apart from that, everything you are doing is great. Consider selling discounted future admission/vouchers to keep some money coming in for you guys.

Just in response to the comments around the female gloryholes and needing more private spaces (and obviously this is just our opinion) but we are quite keen on the anything goes nature of some areas. So we wouldn't want to lose the orgy area or reducing the number of guys who can see and play in the fem gloryholes. Being able to have a big gangbang is quite important to us.

Agree with the idea of somewhere to sit around the dance floor, it’s not massively social downstairs other than the smoking area which is the biggest open space so where most people congregate but as we don’t smoke we don’t want to be out there so often miss seeing 3/4 of the people that attend and feel it looses atmosphere inside, does it need to be so big? Also think the downstairs ladies needs a makeover. Don’t think the dance floor should be reduced in size though, we like a boogie.

I’m sure once you get to reopen whatever you do people will come rushing back

Naked boogie bounce midweek fun. Not for the big breasted women out there as the 2 black eyes look not the best haha.

The club does need more rooms and areas to play and integrate them more into the club, for such a large place feels like okay area squashed into one corridor, and because it’s separated away just doesn’t flow.

I get some people like locked rooms (seems more the case at Xtasia than other clubs) and clearly some rooms should be - but think a club full of them is pointless - everyone should just a room in flirts or hotel! More rooms and areas needed, but make them more open, cage rooms can be good so people can then control who/when/if others join more areas that encourage spontaneity etc.

Dress down - I get this club USP is that it isn’t, but equally a re org of club would maybe make it more able to allow it, as appossed to mandate it. Funnily foam nights are popular because people can dress down...Liberty has a good approach to this.

A maze room - more big round beds, more seating areas - try and find away to connect the play areas with rest of club. Try find way to merge flirts with the club.

We have only visited Xtasia once but quite enjoyed the facility's and we will be back once this is over

I don’t envy you trying to balance out everyone’s wants and expectations - particularly when you have a finite amount of space and a pre-existing building layout that adds further restrictions.

Though it may be fair to point out lockable doors don’t have to be locked, so any room can be an open room.

The problem we see with stable doors is that people can lean over and open them, defeating the object of locking people out but allowing them to view. Perhaps “prison” style sliding viewing windows that can also be locked shut. Meaning you could put the same style doors on every room, and pretty much cover all bases - particularly if you have some way of “hooking” doors open for those who want to.

It’s really difficult, especially when you can’t road test changes and make alterations as you are going along. But it’s good to see opinions sought and even actioned!

We are very much like furniture in the club and love the place but I’d say one thing is possibly a light in the glory holes ... nothing bright just some think to help visibility . My mrs and I love the glory holes but can be some times abit off putting with out some sort of light just a idea . Other then that we love the place and can’t wait for reopen miss u guys and the the place already

Lovely idea thank you. Happy to accept anything you feel we may need. We have a big shed if not used straight away, but now is the time we have real time on our hands to build stuff, and very little funds, so the help is appreciated.

Suggestion from below...two asking for a light of some kind in the glory holes area. Grab something that works for you, drop it off at the gate, we'll try it out and make sure it works in the area...if not it goes into the shed for use at some other time. However please remember essential trips only!

We think the couples side of the gloryhole is a little to bright. Orgy room is perfect the others seem okay. Not keen on the video room anyway.

Lighting-wise, the chill-out lounge seems like the perfect happy medium: soft, ambient, but light enough to see. The same goes for the far end of the soft dungeon, where the bed is.

The orgy room can seem a bit dark when you first step in, but honestly once you're in there and playing the eyes very quickly adjust and it feels just right (for us, anyway).

But the other playrooms (e.g. lockable room, couples room to the side of the gloryholes, camera room) would all be so much more conducive with softer, warmer lighting, we think.

Aside from the strength of the light and dimmability, the "colour temperature" of the bulbs you use is also important. If you can always buy bulbs that are colour ref. 827 (also known as 2700 K or "warm white" / "extra warm white"), or lower, that will help.

While we're talking about lighting, got to say that we absolutely love the coloured lights in the jacuzzi. They really contribute to hotting things up in there In fact maybe a bit of gentle coloured light would be atmospheric in the orgy room as well, given that there isn't much colour in the furnishings.

Best of luck with what you're doing. It's great how you're trying to get some positives out of this closure.

Don't forget financially the govememt is gonna be paying mosts clubs £25,000 to start with so if Uve been paying your taxes u will get paid back like many are saying,

But it looks like most clubs don't have a chance of opening up before 6months as it's clubs and pubs where the viruses is spreading No social distancing

The room at the end by the dungeon area is lockable but have found some guys climb on the horse to look over the top into the room. It's really annoying. Would be good to block this off please

So we've made the far end glory hole more private, by adding a "urinal style" timber to the near side, so you basically perform in a more private way. Everything else still open as was. Think the issue of people looking through needs to be dealt with by signage in all honesty, bit too awkward getting doors on these!

If you look at our current profile picture, it would mean the couple at the far end, all you'd see is their legs, hers sticking up, his sticking out. The rest would be hidden from view.

Update on work to date.

Chill out lounge, half the settees removed, so all facing the TV end now, with a large play bed infront of each one. Altered lighting options and painted. Built two new playrooms in the corners, one for cuckold couples and bulls, the other stable door entrance for voyeurs and exhibitionists, or private use.

Couples room, now split into two, one is the new camera room, the other with a cage style wall, painted and lighting changed.

Dance area, other half of settees moved to far side of dance area to give a comfy seating zone. New drinks shelves all around the inside of the dance circle, and half the stools moved onto dancefloor to make it slightly smaller and more intimate. Touched up painting. Cleaning carpets.

Playrooms. Made the grope box twice as large, so plenty of room for 4 people inside, and looking at a subtle light option. Made 3 of the playrooms even more private, removing the option to look over the tops, as well as the camera room now being private. Put up a swing in the dungeon, and giving all a fresh coat of paint. Lights next.

Jacuzzi, fresh lick of paint and touched up some serious plaster issues! Lockers, fresh lick of paint. Ladies glory holes, painted and a cubicle style wall added to last unit for increased privacy. Cinema...still thinking about it!

Loads more to do, but just thought we'd keep you all in the picture. Also accepting donations of surplus DIY bits over the perimeter fence....so if you have a door lock in your shed, or a tin of half used paint you'll never use etc, and walk past us daily..... thank you. x

"Update on work to date.

Chill out lounge, half the settees removed, so all facing the TV end now, with a large play bed infront of each one. Altered lighting options and painted. Built two new playrooms in the corners, one for cuckold couples and bulls, the other stable door entrance for voyeurs and exhibitionists, or private use.

Couples room, now split into two, one is the new camera room, the other with a cage style wall, painted and lighting changed.

Dance area, other half of settees moved to far side of dance area to give a comfy seating zone. New drinks shelves all around the inside of the dance circle, and half the stools moved onto dancefloor to make it slightly smaller and more intimate. Touched up painting. Cleaning carpets.

Playrooms. Made the grope box twice as large, so plenty of room for 4 people inside, and looking at a subtle light option. Made 3 of the playrooms even more private, removing the option to look over the tops, as well as the camera room now being private. Put up a swing in the dungeon, and giving all a fresh coat of paint. Lights next.

Jacuzzi, fresh lick of paint and touched up some serious plaster issues! Lockers, fresh lick of paint. Ladies glory holes, painted and a cubicle style wall added to last unit for increased privacy. Cinema...still thinking about it!

Loads more to do, but just thought we'd keep you all in the picture. Also accepting donations of surplus DIY bits over the perimeter fence....so if you have a door lock in your shed, or a tin of half used paint you'll never use etc, and walk past us daily..... thank you. x"

We really enjoy the glory holes and the dark grope/ play areas.... Please don't lose these as they are quite unique to the club.

Maybe a revamp of the digging zone? Not a place we've ever really been drawn to.

Love the idea of encouraging over 40s (we're not getting any younger you know!) But I think the demographic has been pretty good to be honest!

Agree with the point in the glory holes, please don’t loose them, would even like more maybe random ones in other rooms or even in main area ?? Maybe with eye holes to see who’s looking / playing

We always love how you try to please the majority and how important the club and the community are for you both. It’s our sanctuary or place to go whenever we can. It’s killing us being away so long and we hope our friends are keeping safe and can’t wait to be back to see the changes and be back to normal

It's so strange for us to be at home of a evening, even stranger at a weekend..
