Hi all,

Which clubs don’t require you to join as a member?

We know you there’s no membership at the attic but curious to know if there are other clubs like this.

What are the pros and cons of membership vs no membership?

Lots of clubs have events that don't require membership, you just put your name on the guest list.

See the forums on here under 'Swingers Clubs Events'

I thought the benefit of the attic was a cheap night out, until the Uber home on Saturday cost £50.

I think members clubs generally have less whiny single men

We have member and non member events. There are perks to membership, so most people opt for membership in the end. However, events like MILF Monday today thrive because it's a non member event and we still have policies in place to control who gets on the list, how and how many.

Thanks for the input people, was just curious to see which clubs required membership and which didn’t.

We tend to prefer the non membership clubs as if you have to pay membership, it can be an expensive night out, and you almost feel obliged to go again, because you’ve paid for it!

Each club is slightly different in how they manage their guest lists & memberships.

Best bet is to check the club website for the details on the events you’re interested in!

Not fact at all!

Single guys who are non-members are welcome at Townhouse for a lot of different events. And I’m sure other clubs will have a variety of non-member events that single guys can attend.

That’s why checking the club websites is the best bet!

When we last looked I'm sure it was £50 or £60 - the website's never been that clear when I've looked.

That was probably a couple of years ago.

I like the sound of your event and the club itself has nice facilities but after that first experience it's never seemed worth trying again if we need to pay a membership because we may as well just pop up to Chams which is always open and always seems to have people there - plus of course Chams is a one off membership.

I fancy visiting VA sometime though - have been wanting to get to their camping event but it's always when we're away.

I prefer a club with membership. It’s safer for me.

As a single lady sometimes visiting alone if something bad happens then the offender’s details are registered. I had an incident outside Pandora’s once and rang the owner the next day so he promised to deal with the offender! Hopefully he terminated their membership!

I have no problem with membership, as such...... It really is a matter of how much is charged for it... Higher priced memberships tend to "tie" you to the club: great for the club but from the customers point of view limits choice..... If it is a "one off" visit, makes it expensive and makes you wonder is it worth it? Regular visitor, you might take different view....

That's what I thought, especially when it had been so quiet the first time we'd gone.

I don't mind paying a membership as with Chams but we don't visit any club regularly enough to justify an annual fee.

The comments people are making about memberships somehow keeping out the riff-raff don't reflect our own experiences. In fact we've found it be pretty much the opposite but maybe that says more about our idea of who's more desirable company

For us a club visit isn’t just for a quick shag it’s the whole experience of the night and using the club facilities, like the bar area, the dance floor and spa areas. We’ve had some amazing nights and not even played with anyone but still talk about the nights a year or so later. We’ve made so many friends from all over the uk from just meeting people at clubs. Yes some clubs and nights are more expensive but it’s been so worth it.

We've been to a number of clubs across the uk and for us the business model Townhouse uses is, in our opinion, the best.

They operate a free membership scheme, vet people properly, manage the ratio of couples and singles. On top of that they charge fair bar prices, keep the place spotless, and they're genuinely lovely people.

We enjoy the Va and Quest too, again they hit a good balance on membership policies and look after their customers.

We have contemplated a return to Libs for some of the great nights they now host but the membership cost puts us off, purely as we would only be able to make it once or twice a year at most so it makes it an expensive road trip to try a new night out.

Thankfully a number of clubs have moved towards either a one off lifetime cost for membership or scrapping it. We know revenue needs to be generated but we prefer the approach clubs like Townhouse take.

That's correct. However Quest does require membership with a driving licence or two forms of ID . Alternatively you can add yourself to the guest list for events providing you have more than 5 verifications on your fab account. This is a great way of trying different club's without having to pay for membership. Like someone has suggested on this thread already, Look up events on the forums at swingers club's and add yourself to the guest list. I do this all the time and have been to many different club's up and down the Country. Hope this helps

When we looked into going liberty elite a couple years ago . We enquired and was told there was the a membership fee for the year. Then there was a one off administration fee as well then on top of that was the admission fee. So We decided to give that a miss as that was approximately £ 85 for the night. We just didn't think there should be a administration charge. But we did go as guests to a night where just paid admission and really enjoyed the club just not willing to pay administration charge..membership is fine though

I'm sorry to hear about this . My experience at Quest is always a good one . Sometimes I go as a single male and mostly as a couple with a few of my single female friends. The staff at Quest are great at dealing with any issues that may happen. I actually had a bad experience a couple of weeks ago with a single female that simply wouldn't take no for an answer. She did something really inappropriate to me without asking and thought she could just join in our fun and it was a free for all. I reported her to the staff and she was asked to leave. As far as the single guys at Quest , I go every weekend and have to say most if them are very polite and respectful. Of course you get the odd towel wanking zombie now and then..You get this at most club's tbh.

Quest is one of my favourite club's these days. I would like to point out that I'm not affiliated or work for the club in any way. I'm a paying customer just like everyone else.

My last two visits to Quest were not favourable, one being we went to a locked room at 8.30pm and the bin was I suspect containing 3 days rubbish in it, central heating on full blast, bed torn to shreds, we ventured to the other locked room and the same scenario. The rooms stank. We went to the staff who laughed. The last visit I encountered a bolshy single guy who thought it ok to verbally abuse me but I dealt with him. It’s put us off visiting again.

Apologies for using the thread for this rant but people need to know.

"I prefer a club with membership. It’s safer for me.

As a single lady sometimes visiting alone if something bad happens then the offender’s details are registered. I had an incident outside Pandora’s once and rang the owner the next day so he promised to deal with the offender! Hopefully he terminated their membership!

Totally agree! No membership means anyone could be let in

Oh we have a membership and take full details from members....we just don't charge for it!

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience, we only tend to go on couples and single females nights so never really had experience of the single gents there.

Certainly never seen any rubbish or ripped bedding, and from our experience the staff are usually really attentive and will step in to resolve any issues if they arrive.

Hopefully you gave feedback and they take it on board. x

Even at non members events, ID is needed to get in to the club, certainly at Townhouse. Details are held on file until after the event in case of any problems, but then disposed of.

I’m interested in going to an event at chams sometime. If we were to go, would we need membership if we were on a guest list?

What others have said re Libs, we were also put off by the admin fee, member fee and entrance fee, but again, this was a few years ago. Maybe we will try again sometime if some of the fees have been scrapped.

We like the crowd that go to the attic, yes, there is the odd idiot and the pushy lone male, but I guess that is true of most places!

as a customer to quest on a weekly basis since it opened, we have never seen rubbish left overnight in bins. It is a spotless club run by staff that are extremely helpful, polite and do not tolerate bad behaviour. As for the single guys there, they are the most polite of any club we have visited.

Pandora’s has nothing to do with my comments on here. However I did say earlier that I once had a situation outside Pandora’s when leaving the club and the owner dealt with the situation.
