Hi all.

We're thinking of spending our first day at Club 29 this Friday 31st.

Does anyone have any info to help us decide if it's worth a visit?

We're experienced and adventurous and are hoping for an "exhausting" trip!

We'd love to hear from people who've been there and also those who might be there on Friday.

Hope you had a great time at C29. I (Mrs L) go regularly and find it a fabulously friendly club with plenty of fun to be had. I would have been there Fri if I’d not had vanilla commitments.

I've never been amigos so can't comment on it. I enjoy Club 29 so see no need to change. Its fun and friendly and i always enjoy it. The staff are great, the club is over 3 floors so plenty of space, im not keen on cramped venues.

I went Chameleons for about 12 years but prefer to stay closer to home now.

Amigos is ok if you like very small spaces & very little privacy.

They had a severe black mould problem, which from what I hear through the grapevine, they're not in a hurry to sort it out, that's why I haven't been back after my first visit, many months ago. However the staff there were friendly & helpful. They had a great selection of nice coffees, & the option of a hot food menu is nice too.

I attend Club 29 most Friday evenings. The club has put a lot of work in over the last several months to update it & make it even better. I enjoy it there as there's plenty of space to move around (over 3 floors), the staff are very friendly & regularly put on free hot & cold food.

The regulars at Club 29 are great too, a good bunch of folk who are also happy to help if it's your first time.

Club 29 is certainly not, as you describe, a "shithole".

If a club does not meet your expectations, this does not mean it's a "shithole", & those types of reviews don't help anyone.

If you've an issue with a Club, you should always leave your good & bad comment/s with someone in Management if possible, so they can take your comments on board & use it accordingly for the near future to better the Club's performance.
