From south wales me and female friend are looking to try a club together... I know xtasia has few more different rooms like glory holes etc. What's the fees back on chams? Being closer it's easier. But we are both nervous and ideally dont want to go and it's dead also lol

You can't really compare them because they are totally different, xtasia has more of a nightclub vibe and chams is dress down so it seems more play focused.

If you want a boogie i’d say Xtasia

If you want more play focus i’d say Chams.

Xtasia has some quirky rooms like the dogging area but Chams is my fave club so i’m trying not to be biased.

Look online at what the different clubs do on the nights you’re planning to go. X

Chams works more for us, but unfortunately Saturday evenings no single guys allowed. We're wouldn't mind some small GB session there with the right males

Our feedback is Chameleons Midlands, no idea as to other one in Wales but believe its totally different.

It's interesting that lots of regulars say Chams. We live in cornwall but visit the East Midlands every few months. In our experience Chams is very clique and the only people we have seen playing are large groups of friends. We agree Xstasia more of a nightclub vibe. It depends what you want in terms of atmosphere but we would say don't go to either expecting guaranteed play as if you go on your own you may find yourselves not part of the "in crowd" which we guess many who have replied are. That's our view as someone who have been recently but not regulars. Hope that helps

Assuming your doing a weekend trip and staying overnight somewhere, why not do both clubs ? They are only about 5 miles apart.

Go to Xtasia on the Sat night, stay in an Xtasia room or the Premier Inn right next door (West Bromwich CENTRAL) and then on the Sunday afternoon go to Chams.

That way you have visited both clubs and can make up your mind as to which you prefer.

Yes ive never been as just imagine its nice to get dressed up and socialise then take things further but have heard so much about chams ..just need a partner to go with as I imagine singles nights is mostly guys ?

We like both, if you want to watch more sex then chams is the place to go. If you like the night club feel, xtasia is the place to go.

Have been to both Xtasia and Chams in Darlaston. Can't comment on the Welsh one.

Liked both but if I had to choose, would probably go for Chams.

I thought it was friendly and well laid out with a good vibe. Though not for anyone uncomfortable with dress down.

Some people have said about the quirky dogging area if xstasia but it's very cramped.

If you want a night club vibe there's a themed night club room in chams anyway.

So many different playrooms but plenty of space and the place is beautiful!

For the people saying it's dress down, you might want to double check. We went 2 nights in a row (sat/sun) and was told I didn't need to dress down. I wore shorts one day and jeans the next.

I did dress down straight away because its not an issue for me but I was covered with a huge towel anyway because I'm always cold even though the club was warm.

Its not compulsory dress down...blokes admittedly towels or boxers/shorts..

Ladies, towels, but i have never done this and always wear sexy gear..no issues..

I'm surprised they let you wear jeans, outerwear isn't allowed.

Like both clubs but for me is Chams (hence why that's my club of choice). Both clubs are very different so you can't make a like for like comparison, it's more a matter of format preference. For me I prefer the relaxed dress down club over the night club type club. I just like to be relaxed, with very little on (or nothing on a tue) and free to unwind with my partner as we mingle. It's kind of like our naughty little private members club. Xtasia is not so much me (although a good club and a lot of fun). I don't like that when your getting filthy in the play rooms every time someone opens a door you get a loud burst of the banging dance tunes from the dance from (I'm not really into bagging night club music). Also from a guy perspective too many clothes. Everyone gets so dressed up, takes it all off downstairs and then seems to put it all back on again to go up stairs (especially the gents). I remember popping up from the play rooms to bar to get some very much needed hydration to find I am literally the only guy just in boxers, every other guy suited and booted. It's funny, in the group room there are huge piles of clothes on the floor, then as soon as people have finished they put their trousers, shirts, shoes etc back on to go back to the bar/dance floor. Personally once I'm stripped down and into the action that's my clothes away in the locker for the night. I'm very comfortable in my own skin, I don't like to faff around taking clothes of and putting them back on. Granted I didn't and as far as I'm aware you don't have to, but it's very much the norm for gents there. Great club, great people, just not my preferred format.

I would say your best to try out both clubs. You'll have a good time at both and will be then better suited to discover which format suits you best.

Can't compare as both very different type of club

Our favourite is xtasia as prefer the dress code not really into walking around in a towel

The unwrapping is part of the fun for us

Xtasia also seems to attract more younger couples as they like the night club vibe and smart dress code

Have seen play in both clubs so wouldn't really say one is a social place an one is a play place

Xtasia holds some great party nights too from foam parties to rave nights and the more smartly dressed red carpet event not to mention some great fetish events if they take your fancy

We can’t echo this enough. Compulsory dress down isn’t for us. We love the atmosphere and people that attend xtasia.... not a bad word to say about the club. It’s our go to place everytime... each to their own -

Really not understanding this myth that Chams is a compulsory dress down club and everyone has to be in a towel...it simply isn’t true.

Yes you can’t walk around in jeans and a T-shirt, but for women they can dress in sexy dresses, underwear, naked or a towel, so basically women can wear exactly what they would wear at XTASIA or as little as they want, or start off with more and end up with less as the night goes on..Men can wear boxers or towel etc. Actually most times I’ve seen more effort in dressing up at Chams than at Xtasia.

As people have said, XTASIA sometimes it can be frustrating that you have to venture off to find a small room that are often locked and full (considering how big the club is) to play and then be messing about fetching your clothes off, money and Keys falling out, only having to search for clothes again and get dressed before returning into bar area.There are more rooms and areas to play at Chams than XTASIA, Chams have a separate dance floor music bar also In the club,, open on Saturdays and party nights, also two jacuzzis, cinema room, and more dungeon and lockable rooms. With regards to clique, have been to both clubs, and seen both clubs sometimes attended by groups who clearly all know each other, but it no way spoils anything, and isnt a consistent thing, just like any club it will always be the people on that particular night that make it a good one.

I think there is a place for both clubs, especially with some of the nights they both run, such as foam party at XTASIA etc.. But think XTASIA could do more with rooms and layout considering the the size of the club, and bring the play more across the club. Equally having a policy more like libs where it’s fine to dress down later in the evening, so you are not forever fetching your clothes on and off, and annoying people still playing while you search for your sock.

This is compulsory dress down irrespective of which sex is required to walk around in underwear or towel only.

This wasn’t a bash post.... it’s stating it’s marmite, one person’s preference won’t be another’s.

I agree, we stopped going saturday nights because we are only interested in single guys. Stopped going altogether now but for a different reason .... a club closer to home
