People go to a club with just the social in mind ?

I really want to check out a new club this week but as of today not in the mood to play in any way shape or form !! Pretty sure it will pass lol

Always loved the socials element of it though so just wondered if people go just for the social with no Intention if playing ?

Don't think that's unusual at all, the very first time we went to a club we had discussed beforehand and had decided that we would not play with anyone, not even with each other and that the most we would do is dress down and watch others.

This made it a lot more relaxed for us with newbie nerves as there was no pressure for us and everyone was really friendly, supportive and respectful of our decision which is why we have gone back many times.

There was another club night we went to and again only socialised too as it didn't have the right vibe or feeling to it. If there is any ever pressure to play then I don't think it would be a club we'd want to go to!

When we go to Chams our attitude is very much that we're going for chill out time and socialising. We sometimes play with others and sometimes don't. We always come away having had a good time

Many people just go to clubs for the social atmosphere. In fact, we often find that if get to a club and there are a lot of people we know there that night, then with all the chatting there is little time for play.

We always look upon going to a club night as an opportunity to get dressed up (then down), meet people, have a drink and a chat...if we end up being attracted to and playing with them that’s a bonus. Otherwise the l expectation can get in the way of the anticipation.

80% of my club visits I go with just the expectation of it being a social event. If anything more happens then even better. The other 20% of the time is when I arrange to meet people that I've played with previously for more fun.

The social side of swinging is great for me I've made some wonderful friends over the years.

I always go only expecting a social and I would say 90% or more of the time that is all I do. I really love the liberation of the scene, hanging out with like-minded people, watching stuff that's going on, and and ambience of the club scene.

If I'm looking for an evening of socialising, I walk the 750 yards to our village pub, pay the same admission as single females and couples (ie, £0), and drink as much as I like.

If I'm paying a visit to a swingers' club, I have to drive 65 miles to the nearest one to me, plan an evening when single guys are 'allowed' in, and pay a gender-biased premium.

Go figure why I rarely visit a club with purely 'social' in mind........

99% when we go to a club we go to play, if we want to socialise we can do something else locally. Although looks like we may are heading to NBN @ Arousals next Saturday purely to socialise! Oh god is it the beginning of the end?

I was only speaking from my own perspective; that of not being fortunate enough to have a club on my doorstep

We go to play. Our nearest club is over an hour drive. Other clubs involve hotels ect. So much effort made, it's no drama if we don't get a play. We have fun together.

We went to a club for first time a while back was just social with the soke purpose of playing together unless anyone super special changed our mind , was a lovley atmosphere no one pushy we were just straight and told then we was their for social and to okay together if anything changed we would let them know was very liberating and we loved it

That's why we like single guys! We have to make just as much effort getting to clubs. We apprechate, they have to pay premiums, plus may have to travel, plan and organuse hotels too.

Which club are you thinking of trying?

I (Mrs B) go to clubs for the social aspect as much as the play.

I think you’ve got it right. The difference between the sexes. Personally I go for the banter with my friend. It’s very rare anything further happens.

Never having been to a club myself, I would have no illusions as to anything happening. I’d go to see what it’s like and chat to people. Should something happen then do be it, but for a first or even second visit, I would probably only be there for a social.

I love the social side to swinging. It's not often I go as a single male to club's these days as I've built up friendships with a few single females. Some I play with some I just socialize with. All in all my local club is like my local pub but with a twist. I can't go down to my local pub in a pair of boxers and talk to pretty ladies dressed in sexy underwear. If I did I would be called a perve . In the club's it just seems normal. I also attend a fair few organised socials. It's so nice to chat with like minded people.

Clubs we find are by the best place to meet genuine people off fab xx socials are a great way to chat relax undress if you date and then watch and mmmmmmm maybe join in xxx ever body has a right to choose to say yes or no xxx safer too xxx

I think you can perfectly enjoy a club from a social side. Often I just go to relax and escape the world outside. I never go to a club with any expectations apart from sharing a good time with My Girl. Having said that mischief just seems to find us.
