As to the Newport one, it's absolutely fine going there as a single man - the staff are very welcoming and efficient, and as long as you go expecting to chat and relax (as opposed to assuming that anything else will happen), you should have a great time (and, because you'll be behaving normally, you'll probably end up playing, too). Are you sure this isn't at the Chams in Darlaston?
As to the Newport one, it's absolutely fine going there as a single man - the staff are very welcoming and efficient, and as long as you go expecting to chat and relax (as opposed to assuming that anything else will happen), you should have a great time (and, because you'll be behaving normally, you'll probably end up playing, too).
