We are planning our first club visit in September hopefully with friends, we are looking for any advise regarding the two clubs? Should we be heading to Townhouse or Cupid’s?? And why?

Been to both. Both fabulous in slightly different ways .. in my opinion.. Townhouse great for multiple anonymous sexual encounters (fab +++). Cupid’s feels more like a members and friends club ... maybe less action but more connections? Xx

As a newbie to the scene as well, I had the same questions, where would be the best place to find out about the scene and meet people who I'd be be happy to go on the journey with. Townhouse was my choice after chatting to a few people who had attended various events. Its a great venue, safe and secure, and quite honestly, the most relaxed crowd of people, and therefore environment I could have hoped for. I cannot recommend Townhouse highly enough, the owners are amazing, the event hosts welcoming, as well as drop dead gorgeous, and the club members make it a very welcoming and enjoyable experience. There are plenty of events to choose from as a couple, and I assure you once you have been the first time, you will be returning, it has a magnetic pull! Hope that helps with your decision making, and we see you at Townhouse in the near future xx

Hi..

Definitely Townhouse !!!

We attended last week for the first time.. totally terrified but as soon as we walked through the door were made to feel relaxed and like we should be there..

Atmosphere was buzzing, everyone was just getting on with their own thing..

No pressure from anyone,

Different rooms to mingle in

Great bar and staff

We ventured upstairs not k owing what to expect as we had never done anything like this before.

Found somewhere we felt comfortable and played together while others watched.. we watched others playing too.

Weirdly it all felt very normal..

Went back 2 days later ...

Was a totally liberating amazing experience nothing about townhouse is a negative.

The hosts and owners have done a fantastic job creating this community..

Love it !!!!!!!!

Townhouse all the way!!!!

We were so nervous as a couple to go and we eventually plucked up the courage to go, with all the great feedback we had read on here and with the help from LV and other members telling us that there is nothing to worry about. It's true when people say that as soon as you walk through the door you immediately feel like you have been going there for years, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We wondered and laughed about why we were so scared. I know that's what everyone says but it is actually true.

You can relax and chat to people and if you want to play either by yourselves or with others then there is no pressure. The place itself is amazing, the bar is lush, drinks are cheap and the rooms are all different with equipment that you can experiment with (wheel/swing). Very clean, any questions or worries that you have you can ask and will be answered with no judgement.

The hosts and staff quickly become like friends you have known for years. Vic and Jim have created a fantastic community and an environment that is fun and safe. They take the time out to make you feel relaxed and look after you like your part of the family.

We are gutted that it's been a week and we havnt been able to go back because of work, but the next night we get off we will defo be there.

It is so much better than a regular pub and even if we don't play we would only go here now just to have a drink even.

We would never have had any confidence to dress down, but here there was no issue whatsoever and it was not even a thought of what people would think, it was like second nature.

I can guarantee you will both absolutely love it.

I will just take this time to re thank, Vic, Jim, LV and Mike for making our night so amazing. You really are a credit and fantastic people (sorry for the cheese fest but its true)

Wow. Certainly did not expect such a one sided response, but looks like that is our minds made up, and townhouse it will be. We are planning on visiting with another couple, so that should help dissipate any of the early nerves.

We are planning a Saturday in Sept, are there any events that people would recommend as a “must attend”??

The end of month party is always a hit this one falls on the 28th Sept.

There is also a lip sync battle themed night on the 24th.

All I go can be found ont he whats on section of the townhouse website or on the forums here

Birkenhead/Liverpool

There is a great newbies night on the 12th which is always really good and if you are coming with another couple, then our couples night is on the 13th.

The lip sync battle night is actually on the 14th, not the 24th and will be a giggle xxx

There is also the party night on 31st August if you can make that one - it’s a festival theme & is set to be a brilliant night!!

Whichever night you choose, I’m sure you will have a ball!! It was my first club too & is now like a second home - as much for the social side as for the swinging side!

Hope to see you there soon! x

I would suggest trying both, I've been to both, and thought they were both excellent places. Although the vibe is different.... somewhere one person likes, another will hate ....

Very good advice - with so many clubs to try & different events to visit, it’s daft to miss them out!!

Townhouse definitely

For a start most events allow you to remain in your normal ( smart) clothes as long as you want in the lounge and bar .

I mostly go to clubs as a single female and Townhouse is definitely my favourite - I have been to Chameleons a few times and have had mixed experiences there ( a couple of times the single men have not behaved as well as they should) .

Once the new sundeck at Townhouse is finished I can see no advantage to Chameleons.

I would agree it’s worth picking your night/ event according to your taste.

Townhouse is by far the best I’ve seen, you’ll have showers on every floors including the ground floor when other places have fewer or no showers at all which is bad , the club is spacious and you’ll have so many things that you can do in there so whatever your mood you’ll find a place where to relax and socialise or play . Now the people I met in townhouse have all always been very friendly and playful, if you want to have a laugh you’ll find the right people there if it’s more a conversation about this lifestyle again I can guarantee you’ll find the right people so what ever you’re after you can find it at Townhouse all you need to do is browse through their website’s “ what’s on page” and select a party or event you’d like to attend and ask to be on the guests list xx
